If there's two things I love, it's Nickelodeon and Ghostbusters. Although the two are completely separate, they have 'crossed the streams' with each other every once in the while, such as Nickelodeon UK Slimer and Friends and Extreme Ghostbusters in the '90s, to more recent crossovers, including the Ghostbusters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover comics and figures, Ghostbusters: Answer The Call winning THREE orange blimps at Nickelodeon’s 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards, and Nick shows, including Henry Danger, Fairly OddParents and Lip Sync Battle Shorties paying homage to the Ghostbusters franchise.
Now, a brand-new Nickelodeon x Ghostbusters crossover has been made! To promote Nick Jr. Too in the UK airing Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated preschool series PAW Patrol, Maya Lakhani, a On Air & CSU Coordinator at Nickelodeon UK, made this PAWsome “Paw-Busters” trailer, featuring Ray Parker Jr.'s classic “Ghostbusters” song! Nickelodeon Southeast Asia will premiere Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, a new original TV movie based on author Chris Grabenstein’s acclaimed children’s book of the same name, on Friday 26th January 2018 at 6:00pm on Nickelodeon Indonesia (WIB) and Nickelodeon Thailand (TH), and at 7:00pm on Nickelodeon Malaysia (MY), Nickelodeon Philippines (PH) and Nickelodeon Singapore (SG), Nickelodeon Taiwan (TW) and Nickelodeon Hong Kong (HK). Nickelodeon stars Casey Simpson (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn) and Breanna Yde (Nickelodeon’s School of Rock) join Russell Roberts (The Twilight Saga: New Moon) and newcomers AJ Rivera and Klarke Pipkin in the fantastical adventure about a group of friends whose overnight stay in their town’s new high-tech library turns into a daring, dangerous adventure of escape. The book, originally published in 2013 by Random House Children’s Books, boasts a 109-week run on the New York Times Best-Seller list.

World-renowned gamemaker Luigi Lemoncello (Russell Roberts) has built his latest creation--a new state-of-the-art library filled with whimsical and eccentric rooms, where hardcover books fly kids to shelves in the sky, and massive doors open into fantastical worlds. Kyle Keeley, Lemoncello’s biggest fan, is chosen to be one of the first to experience the fun, along with his best friend Akimi, a bookworm named Sierra (Klarke Pipkin), a goofball named Andrew Peckleman (A.J. Luis Rivera Jr.), his rival Charles Chiltington (Ty Nicolas Consiglio), and others. The kids must use their wits to complete riddles and collect clues that lead them out of this unique playground of imagination. When excitement turns to jeopardy, this world of wonder begins to spiral out of control as literary characters run amok and chaos ensues. It’s up to the kids to make everything right again or else they won’t be the only ones escaping.

Belarus - Belarusian mobile operator Velcom has added more than 40 new channels to its mobile TV service under the Voka TV brand. The service now offers more than 70 channels, including 10 in HD.
Mainly film channels, such as 'TV 1000', 'TV 1000 Action' and 'TV 1000. Russian Films' have been added to the offer, as well as Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. from Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), and Viasat Sport.
The service can be used on smartphones, tablets, PCs or TVs supporting the Android TV system, at a cost of BYN 0.42 per day. The content can be used by subscribers of all operators, while internet traffic isn't charged on the Velcom's 3G network.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is no stranger to notable visitors, but they had an especially memorable meet-up between two greats when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Michelangelo paid them a visit to see the artistic works of his namesake, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, and to pose for a few photos!
The Metropolitan Museum of Art documented the Hero in A Half-Shell's visit by posting photos of Mikey admiring the famed Italian artist's, who passed away in 1564 at the age of 88, signage, sketches, and sculptures on their official Twitter page, adding a caption that noted that “our celebrity guest came to see the work of an artist who happens to share his name.”
The Met’s exhibition dedicated to the sculptor and “Sistine Chapel” painter is entitled “Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman & Designer.” The exhibition "presents a stunning range and number of works by the artist: 133 of his drawings, three of his marble sculptures, his earliest painting, his wood architectural model for a chapel vault, as well as a substantial body of complementary works by other artists for comparison and context," the exhibit's description reads. "Selected from 50 public and private collections in the United States and Europe, the exhibition examines Michelangelo's rich legacy as a supreme draftsman and designer."
It’s common knowledge that each of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was named for a legendary artist, with Leonardo’s namesake (da Vinci) being the most famous and recognizable of the four—sensible, given that Leo leads turtle teens. But clearly, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are no slouches, and the Met wants us all to recognize. “Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman & Designer” has been on display since November and closes after February 12, so we can only assume this isn’t the nunchuck-wielding turtle’s first visit—just the most prominently (and exquisitely) photographed.
To all of the curators out there reading this article: Yes. If you have a Leonardo da Vinci exhibition on the horizon, you know what to do. A Donatello exhibit? Same thing. And Raphael? You know it. Turtle power!

Netherlands - Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) is partnering with Duinrell to host Nick Jr. Fandagen, a Nickelodeon festival designed for preschoolers this Easter!
Taking place over two days on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd April 2018, Nickelodeon will be turning the popular Dutch amusement park into an interactive Nickelodeon playground, where kids can meet and greet their favourite Nick Jr. stars, such as Marshall, Chase and Skye from PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, Dora the Explorer, and Diego, and take part in many aweslime activities, including a scavenger hunt; a mini show; playing, crafting & colouring; the Nick Jr. Quiz; making tattoos and tiaras; and playing games on the Nick Jr. Playing Field.
Tickets to attend Nick Jr. Fandagen 2018 are available to purchase now at nickjrfandagen.nl. Children aged one and under will have free admission. Duinrell will remain open throughout the event.
