Nickelodeon & Paramount To Release 'Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie' On DVD On Tuesday 13th February 2018 *Update*

Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution have announced that they'll release Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie, Nickelodeon's brand-new Original Movie featuring a storyline picking up where the original Hey Arnold! TV series ended, on DVD on Tuesday 13th February 2018! Hey! Arnold is back - and he's about to go where no football-headed fourth grader has gone before! When his class wins a trip to San Lorenzo, the last known place his parents were seen, Arnold is excited to finally uncover exactly what happened to his mom and dad.

But the road to the truth proves to be more than he bargained for when pirates kidnap him and his friends. Even if they band together to escape their clutches, will the hazardous jungle and the mysterious Green-Eyed People get in the way of the long-awaited reunion he's dreamt of his whole life?

Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie has a running time of approximately 66 minutes when stripped of the commercial breaks, and is written and produced by the original series creator, Craig Bartlett. It features 19 voices from the original series, plus introduces new voices such as Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2, Raiders of the Lost Ark) playing the villain "Lasombra."

UPDATE (12/19): Amazon.com are now accepting pre-orders for the Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie, which is currently priced $13.99 (USD)! Additionally, Olivia Hack, who voices Rhonda in Nickelodeon's iconic '90s series and "The Jungle Movie", has announced on Twitter that the DVD will feature special features!

Amazon.com has a listing for the item, but isn't accepting pre-orders as of when this is originally published (check back, though, because I'm sure they'll begin soon!). It is currently unknown whether 'Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie' will also get a Blu-ray release,

Nickelodeon USA Unveils First 'Hunter Street' Season 2 Trailer

Hunter Street is back!


The mysterious series revolving around a blended family is coming back to Nickelodeon later this month and Just Jared Jr. has the first look at the trailer for the new season!

During the second season, the Hunter family is faced with another mystery when their dad, Erik Hunter, is accused of a crime and it’s up to the kids to crack the case and clear his name!

The siblings will set out on a quest for clues, leading them on an epic and suspenseful adventure; they come across secret organizations, puzzling clues, secret rooms, unexpected revelations – and some exciting new additions to the family!

Hunter Street stars Stony Blyden as street-smart Max; MaeMae Renfrow as the independent and resourceful sister Tess; Kyra Smith as the free-spirited youngest Hunter sister Anika; Daan Creyghton as Sal, the genius of the bunch; Thomas Jansen as the fiercely protective eldest brother Daniel; and Ronald Top and Tooske Ragas as Erik and Kate Hunter, the parents of the Hunter family. Nickelodeon's Pam Kaufman and Sujata Luther to Close Out NYC Licensing Summit with 'The Story of Me: Insights Into Kids Today' Keynote Session

Two top industry leaders will share insights from their research into today’s kids.

NORTH AMERICA – Pam Kaufman and Sujata Luther of Nickelodeon will close out the NYC Licensing Summit Feb. 20 in a keynote session titled “The Story of Me: Insights Into Kids Today”!


There are approximately 50 million kids under the age of 11 in the U.S. today, making up 15.4 percent of the overall population. In the NYC Summit Closing Keynote session, Pam Kaufman, Chief Marketing Officer and President of Consumer Products, will sit down with fellow Nickelodeon executive Sujata Luther, Executive Vice President of Consumer Insights, to discuss the findings of several years of research conducted by Nickelodeon that illuminates the motivations, attitudes and ethos of Generation Z.

“The focus these days is often on Millennials, but the next generation of children is quickly building influence. The kids of Generation Z have a completely different mindset and approach to the world from previous generations, and gaining a deeper understanding of these children will be invaluable to the future of most businesses,” says Steven Ekstract, Brand Director, Global Licensing Group at UBM, organizer of the NYC Summit. “We are honored that Pam and Sujata have agreed to share their unique insights on this topic. MIPTV Unveils Jury For Inaugural Kids' Live Action Pitch Contest

MipTV organiser Reed Midem is introducing a new pitching competition dedicated to live-action youth programming at this year’s event in April!

The Kids’ Live Action Pitch is designed to meet what Reed Midem has identified as a growing international demand for live-action children’s series.

The firm claims it will be the first international competition to source original live-action programming ideas from producers and creators of children’s content.

Five finalists will be selected by a jury comprised of industry experts such as Nina Hahn, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Production and Development at Nickelodeon International; Jo Allen, producer for BBC Children’s acquisitions and independent animation; David Levine, Vice President (VP) of programming, production and strategic development for Disney Channels EMEA; and Paula Taborda dos Guaranys, Gloob’s head of content and programming.

Submissions are now open for series ideas on the MipTV website and will close on February 16. The finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their project live on stage at MipTV in front of buyers and commissioning editors in the kids’ industry and will also have one-on-one meetings with each of the jury members.

Alongside the inaugural competition, this year’s MipTV will also feature sessions focusing on content for digital natives and live-action scripted series.

Meanwhile, the International Emmy Kids’ Awards ceremony will be held on the evening of April 10 as part of MipTV, which takes places between April 9 and 12 in Cannes, France.

Europe - Nickelodeon takes rivalry to a whole new dimension in the brand-new, sci-fi competition series Massive Monster Mayhem (20 half-hour episodes), premiering Wednesday 17th January 2018 at 20:30 on Nickelodeon Italy (Italia). Co-created by Artur Spigel (founder of 7ate9 Entertainment) and Michael Chaves, and produced by DHX Media, the CGI-animated series features live-action gameplay by real-life kids who compete in futuristic athletic challenges for a chance to win prizes and save the Earth from total destruction.



In each episode of Massive Monster Mayhem, three real-life kid heroes are placed in a fictional alternate universe to compete in a gauntlet of intergalactic challenges in order to become Earth’s champion. Contestants are eliminated through a series of three rounds, which culminate when the last player standing faces off against one of overlord Master Mayhem’s monsters to save the planet. Each action-packed episode features two hosts who provide fun commentary during gameplay and non-stop hijinks from Master Mayhem and his monsters. SINGAPORE — 12 JANUARY 2018Nickelodeon announced that WWE Superstar John Cena is returning to host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards for the second time, while also breaking new ground at the network with a first: Cena will get into character by lending his voice to an original villain named Baron Draxum in the brand-new 2D animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (US-airing version), premiering late 2018.

Nickelodeon’s 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards will air in Asia on Monday, 26 March 2018 and celebrates kids’ favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, pop culture, animation and more. With stunts and surprises at every turn, the show will return to the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and will be seen by kids around the globe on Nickelodeon channels in more than 170 countries and territories. Additional Kids’ Choice Awards news, including categories and presenters, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ newest villain, Baron Draxum, will be voiced by Cena in the US. Baron Draxum is an alchemist warrior mutant who seeks to turn all of humanity into mutants. In the US, Cena’s reoccurring character will appear in the premiere episode and throughout the series, which follows the band of brothers as they encounter new mutants and villains and discover a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.

A Desolate Spirit World is Revealed in 'The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars' Part Two

Nickelodeon UK & Ireland and VisitBlackpool have revealed the very exciting news in the following promo that Nickelodeon SLIMEFEST will be returning to Blackpool for another slime-soaked event later this year!



The news follows the tremendous success of the UK's first two annual Nickelodeon SLIMEFEST events in 2016 and 2017!

In 2016, 4000 people attended the two sold-out SLIMEFEST shows held at the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Hosted by Jordan and Perri, SLIMEFEST 2016 saw aweslime performances from Diversity, Conor Maynard, Alesha Dixon, Aston Merrygold and the Tide, along with special appearances from The Thundermans stars Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin, vlogger Roxxsaurus, and Nick Kicks presenter Roman Kemp, plus plenty of Nickelodeon's world famous green slime!


In 2017, Nickelodeon amped up the Slime Factor! 12,000 people attended six sold-out SLIMEFEST shows which took place across three days at The Arena at Blackpool Pleasure Beach! Hosted by Nickelodeon presenters Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, SLIMEFEST 2017 treated fans to Slime, Music and Mayhem! Highlights included live performances from Professor Green, Matt Terry, Five After Midnight, JoJo Siwa (who performed for the very first time in the UK), Diversity, Pixie Lott, M.O, The Vamps and New Hope Club, special appearances from School of Rock stars Breanna Yde and Ricardo Hurtado and Musical.ly stars Max & Harvey Mills, plus plenty of Nickelodeon's world famous green slime - thousands of kids got covered in Nickelodeon's iconic slime!

'Drake & Josh' Star Drake Bell Makes Fresno Fan's Dream Come True

Singer/actor Drake Bell, a former Nickelodeon star, was the first crush for a lot of teenage girls who grew up in the early to mid 2000s. And on Wednesday, January 10, he made one longtime Fresno fan’s childhood dream come true!


Bell, who starred in the popular Nickelodeon comedies The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh, sang his iconic Drake & Josh theme song "Found a Way" with Fresno, California fan Jennifer Cueva during a meet and greet Wednesday afternoon at Heroes Comics a few hours prior to his concert at Fulton 55!
