Nickelodeon Russia (Россия) will start to premiere the second season of Regal Academy on Monday 22nd January 2018!
Regal Academy, locally titled Королевская Академия in Russia, is a popular funny and exciting animated series (26 episodes X 26') from Winx Club creator Rainbow that brings classic fairy tale characters into the modern world. Using a a mixture of comedy, music and innovative animation techniques, the show takes the familiar world of fairy tales and turns it upside down by adding a delicious and charming twist.
The action takes place through the eyes of Rose Cinderella, a average teenage girl who's as obsessed with shoes as she is fairy tales. But when she finds a key that unlocks a magical new world, she learns that fairy tales are not just in storybooks!
When Rose tumbles into Fairy Tale Land, she discovers something even greater--her own magical family legacy! Her grandmother Cinderella is headmistress of Regal Academy, where five famous fairy tale families come together to teach the next generation of princes and princesses how to become heroes... with a lot of help from their legendary grandparents.
Now Rose and her new best friends – Astoria Rapunzel, Joy Le Frog, Travis Beast, LingLing Iron Fan and Hawk Snowwhite, all of whom belong to the school's founding families ̵#8211; figure out how to fly dragons and outsmart witches, all while learning to use their magic and live up to their famous family names. In Regal Academy season two, Rose and her friends are back from summer holidays and ready to take on new and exciting adventures in Fairytale Land. With the help of new magical items and funny pumpkin creatures called the PomPoms, Rose and her friends will undertake new missions, unravel a mystery behind a new student named Kira, and face off against the evil Snow Queen who wants to trap them in her snow globes, all whilst on their quest to becoming the next generation of fairy-tale heroes!
In the second season premiere episode of Regal Academy, "PomPoms!", to get revenge on the six great fairy tale families, the evil Snow Queen takes advantage of pumpkin-made little creatures to create havoc in Regal Academy!
Created and produced by Rainbow in collaboration with Rai Fiction, Regal Academy season one debuted in Italy in May 2016 on Rai YoYo and premiered in the US on Nickelodeon three months later. The series has been sold in more than 120 countries. Nickelodeon has the global broadcast rights to Regal Academy season two.

Building upon the series' success, The Alpha Group released a full line of fashion dolls and playsets based on Regal Academy in the USA during Fall 2017. Designed for girls five and older, the line spans 14 skus across 7 assortments with a wide range of price points. The toy line was showcased at New York Toy Fair in February 2017, during which fans of the show were also able to catch a glimpse of the Regal Academy bus driving around Manhattan.
Other licensees signed on include Justbridge Entertainment (DVD distribution) and Italian publisher Fabbri Editori (storybooks and activity and novelty formats). Procos has also signed a multi-territory agreement to cover the party-ware category.
Regal Academy is one of the latest property's created and developed by Rainbow, the force behind Winx Club, whose consumer products sales generated more than US$2 billion at global retail last year.

Nickelodeon Latin America Launches Noggin On Claro Video In Uruguay
Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) and Claro have launched Noggin, Nickelodeon’s video-subscription service for preschoolers, to Claro Video’s over-the-top (OTT) platform in Uruguay!
Aiming to boost Claro video’s entertainment options for kids in the country, Nickelodeon’s digital platform will be immediately available to Claro’s OTT subscribers.
Noggin won’t be part of Claro video’s basic subscription; an extra monthly fee of $90 will be required. As a incentive, new subscribers will receive their first month free.
The content featured on Noggin includes some of Nickelodeon's biggest hits, such as Rugrats, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Blue's Clues, Rusty Rivets, Paw Patrol, Ni Hao Kai Lan, Team Umizoomi, Peter Rabbit and Fresh Beat Band of Spies. The service features the title, synopsis, year of premiere, and episode duration for each show.
In order to access the Noggin platform, subscribers will have two options: to download the dedicated app, available for connected mobile devices as well as computers and smart TVs; or to use the Claro video platform, in which Noggin is fully integrated.
Uruguay is one of the last Latin American countries in which Claro video was launched. The América Móvil-owned streaming service, the second most-used platform across the region after Netflix, was released in the South American country in March 2017.
Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) and Claro first entered a partnership to distribute Noggin in Latin American countries in September 2017, initially rolling the service out in Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic.

Nickelodeon And Spin Master Announce New 'Ultimate Rescue' And 'Mighty Pups' Themed Episodes Of 'PAW Patrol'
Nickelodeon UK and their licensing partners have announced some exciting news updates about fan-favourite Nickelodeon properties in the January 2018 issue of Toy World Magazine!
PAW Patrol has just completed another successful year! The series is the No. 1 kids across the Kids EPG, in satellite and cable homes, and is repeated on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland 11 times a day and on Channel 5′s Milkshake! programming strand twice a day. A total of 13.5 million viewers watched PAW Patrol in 2017, including 4 million kids. PAW Patrol also dominates the digital sphere, ranked as the number one selling preschool app. Three PAW Patrol apps are currently available with schedule updates.
PAW Patrol Live! has been an immersive experience for kids across the nation. In 2017 there were 59 performances in 10 cities, with the second leg of the tour kicking off in October 2017.
In July and October 2017, there were two different episode premieres of PAW Patrol related content in conjunction with Vue cinemas.
Season four, comprising of 26 brand-new episodes, will premiere this year on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland. New themed episodes of "Mission PAW", "Sea Patrol" and "Ultimate Rescue" will also make their debut this year, with new themes "Ultimate Rescue" and "Mighty Pups" airing in 2019.
2018 is the Year of the Dog, and to celebrate, Spin Master will release a exclusive PAW Patrol plush line!
Nickelodeon's latest preschool hit is Rusty Rivets, which launched on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland in March 2017. The second Nickelodeon collaboration with Spin Master Productions, Rusty Rivets looks set to emulate the success of PAW Patrol.
The show features curious do-it-yourselfer Rusty, who is both a designer and a maker. In every episode, Rusty and his friends are faced with a challenge. Using key elements from his trial and error inventions, Rusty and his team assemble the build to help achieve their goal and save the day.
Rusty Rivets has the second highest average audience on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland, and was the channel's second highest ratings driver in October 2017. Since launch in March 2017, Rusty Rivets has generated the highest average audience on Nick Jr., reaching a total 1.7 million kids to November 2017.
On Channel 5's Milkshake! is launched as the No. 1 show, with over 1.8 million viewers tuning in in October 2017, and has reached 3.5 million viewers since launch to November 2017.
New episodes for the series will air on Nick Jr. and then follow on Milkshake! four months later. This year a range of toys will be launched, with the Spin Master Entertainment toy line, slated to launch in July 2018, to include figures and playsets, maker-kids and role play items. The toy line will be supported throughout Autumn/Winter 2018, and will receive PR and digital support.

This animated series, aimed at a core audience of girls 2-5 years of age, has become a No. 1 Nick Jr. show, reaching 2.1 million kids on Nick Jr. and Milkshake! to the end of November 2017.
Season two has been greenlit with 20 new episodes to air this year. Working with master toy partner Vivid Imaginations, a range of toys, soft lines and content will launch January 2018, supported by a variety of on-the-ground activations.
