Nickelodeon Australia & New Zealand To Premiere 'The Thundermans' Special 'Thunder In Paradise' On Friday 26th January 2018
The Thundermans will be heading to Hawaii this summer in the brand-new hour-long The Thundermans special "Thunder in Paradise", premiering Friday 26th January 2018 at 5:30pm (AEDT) on Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand!
In the all-new The Thundermans one-hour movie special, "Thunder in Paradise" (#420), the Thundermans leave Hiddenville for sunny Hawaii for summer vacation! The Thunder twins are looking forward to fun in the sun and daily holiday adventures, but its not long until the Thunderfam experiences trouble in paradise! It all begins when Phoebe (Kira Kosarin) accidentally absorbs the evil powers of mega villain Dark Mayhem (Jamieson Price (Voice), Omid Zader). Sunway Lagoon Invites 25 Underprivileged Children To Enjoy Festive Treats And Rides
Malaysia: To celebrate its 25th year, Sunway Lagoon gave the gift of joy and laughter to underprivileged children during the year-end holidays!

In collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen, and as part of Sunway Lagoon's “25 Wonder Years” initiative, the theme park invited 25 children aged four to 14 from 11 underprivileged families and their guardians from Kechara Soup Kitchen to experience their “Best Christmas Ever” at the park. The kids had a fun-filled day of thrilling rides, a meet-and-greet session with Santa Claus as well as an educational tour of Sunway Lagoon.
The children started off their day-long outing by witnessing the “changing of guards”. They were then entertained with a welcome dance performed to the park’s 25th anniversary theme song, Experience It. The song was specially arranged and features local artistes Kaka Azraff, Caprice Ariz and Mimi Fly.
Into the park, the young guests were greeted by Santa Claus and his cheeky elves leading to the “Let It Snow – Santa’s Story Time” programme. Santa then presented the children with personalised gifts by Santa according to a wishlist sent to Sunway Lagoon earlier.
Sunway Lagoon marketing director Michelle Gregory said the children were very practical in their requests. “They asked for everyday items such as school bags and shoes,” she added.
After the meet-and-greet session, more adventure and surprises enfolded including a guided “wildlife encounter” and learning experience at the Wildlife Park, and a multi-animal showcase at the Wildlife Theatre, where they saw white cockatoos and pelicans performing.
Lunch was then served at one of the event halls next to the water theme park and the children were delighted at the array of Christmas treats, especially the chocolate fondue fountain.
After lunch, with tummies filled, the happy children spent the rest of the day at the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon, which included wading in the iconic green slime pool during the infamous Slime Time and taking pictures with Nickelodeon characters, before proceeding to enjoy the rest of the water theme park.
“We were delighted to be able to present them with a gift of joy this Christmas as well as fulfil their wishlist.
“It gave us great satisfaction to see the smiles, laughter and the wonderful moments they had today.
“We hope they will keep these happy memories with them,” said Sunway Lagoon general manager Sean Choo.

A boy and his friend go on a mission to feed their ever-hungry alien pet in an effort to save the earth in the Earth to Allen short, "Hunger Pains"!
Earth to Allen Presents Hunger Pains is a Nickelodeon Animated Short created by Dave Schlafman, a five-time Emmy-nominated producer, creative director and designer with over twelve years of experience producing digital products and content for all ages.
Dave spent the early part of his career working in game design, animation production, and creative development for companies such as Harmonix, Hasbro and Scholastic Entertainment, and in 2009 Dave co-founded digital agency CloudKid. The studio produced content and digital products across a variety of platforms, from apps to mobile games to webisodes to network pilots. There, he oversaw the design and animation team, provided creative direction and strategy for client and internal products, and ran the day-to-day business. In addition, he managed a slate of original IP, developing pilots with Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Houghton Mifflin, and PBS Kids. In 2015, the CloudKid team was acquired by social robotics company, Jibo Inc, where he led the Robot Design team and guided the interplay of character development, user experience and visual design. Most recently, Dave joined Netflix where he's exploring the intersection of story innovation, design, and technology.
Dave’s diverse background in content production and design provides him with a unique perspective for designing the next generation of story experiences.

'Thomas & Friends' To Arrives On Nickelodeon USA
Zap2it TV Listings is reporting the exciting news that Nickelodeon USA will start to air the beloved children's series Thomas & Friends, which follows the adventures of a group of trains and road vehicles who work and live on the Island of Sodor, home of The Fat Controller's (Sir Topham Hatt's) railway, on Friday 15th December 2017 at 1:30pm ET/PT!
Update: Nickelodeon has announced in a trailer that the episode will be a holiday special!
Update II: The episode will be the brand-new episode "The Christmas Coffee Pot", which has not currently aired in the US! In the episode, a voice cries out in alarm and Marion thinks she's found a talking Christmas tree.

Nickelodeon UK & Nick Jr. UK Enjoy Strong Performances In 2017
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has highlighted the strength of the performance of its UK channels in 2017, led by free-to-air (FTA) broadcaster Channel 5, which delivered the largest audience growth among the country’s public service broadcasters!
Channel 5’s audience grew by 5% to deliver a 6.51% share of all TV viewing, the service’s best performance since 2004. The Channel 5 portfolio, including 5Star, 5USA and 5Spike, also delivered its highest share of viewing to date among the sought-after ABC1 audience segments and 16-24 year-olds, according to Viacom. The portfolio achieved a 5.58% share of this group, which it said reflected its investment in factual and documentary shows including Slum Britain: 50 Years On, produced in partnership with Shelter and natural history documentary, Alaska: A Year in the Wild. The rebranded 5Spike meanwhile saw a 32% increase in viewing share for all individuals.
Viacom's portfolio of channels saw the highest-ever annual share of viewing (SOV) amongst both ABC1s and 16-34 year-old TV viewers.
Viacom channels are growing audiences and are now watched by 8.4% of all TV viewers in the UK. Comedy Central grew its 16-34 audience by 11% and achieved its best year on record in 2017, while Nickelodeon grew 7% and is the number one ranked kids network in pay TV homes, ahead of BBC Kids (CBBC and CBeebies) and Disney, and Nick Jr. achieved its best year on record. MTV also achieved its second highest annual share for 16-34s.
Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.'s growth was buoyed by the launch of more than 140 new episodes of new and returning series and specials, including Hunter Street, Henry Danger, The Thundermans, School of Rock, Paradise Run, Game Shakers, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Nella the Princess Knight, PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets, and Shimmer and Shine. Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. are set to continue growing their audiences in 2018 with the launch of brand-new shows, such as I Am Frankie and Sunny Day, brand-new episodes and specials of fan-favourite shows, including Hunter Street season two, and must see tentpole events, including Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2018.

The Delaware 87ers To Host Nickelodeon Night Featuring SpongeBob SquarePants (Updated W/ New Photos)
SEVENS TO HOST NICKELODEON NIGHT FEATURING SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS

ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3
WILMINGTON, DE – The Delaware 87ers have announced that the team will hold Nickelodeon Night featuring SpongeBob SquarePants on Wednesday, January 3, when the Sevens play the Erie BayHawks at Bob Carpenter Center at University of Delaware, Newark, DE at 7:00 P.M. Marking the latest theme night partnership between Nickelodeon and a team in the NBA Development League, the evening will be hosted by Reybold Group in support of Child Inc., the Wilmington, Delaware based charity advocates for neglected and abused children in the state.

Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased at Ticketmaster or by calling (302)831-4016. Admission starts at just $15. Ticket sales will benefit CHILD, Inc.
Sevens players will wear custom uniforms inspired by the beloved Nickelodeon star. Jerseys will later be available to fans in an auction, which will also benefit CHILD, Inc.
The Delaware 87ers aren't the first sports team inspired by the Krusty Krab's most dedicated employee. The Norfolk Tides, a Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, also modeled SpongeBob uniforms in 2015.
In March 2017, the Delaware 87ers hosted a Nickelodeon Night featuring Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. To celebrate the occasion, Sevens players wore custom uniforms inspired by the Pink Ranger’s iconic design featured in Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
