Viacom Nickelodeon CP renews its partnership with the licensing agent and extends its cooperation into Russia through newly formed CPLG Pullman
Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products (VNCP) has renewed and extended its agreement with brand licensing agency CPLG.
Under the multi-year agreement, CPLG Pullman will continue to represent Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products in Benelux, the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey and will now oversee Russia as part of their Nickelodeon portfolio.
“Our long-standing relationship with CPLG includes a number of European markets, and we are excited to extend this partnership with CPLG Pullman to our business in Russia,” says Mark Kingston, Senior Vice President (SVP), International, Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products. “Russia is a key strategic market for VNCP, and we look forward to working with CPLG Pullman to drive growth for our business across the region.”
CPLG recently announced the acquisition of a 49 percent share in Pullman Licensing LLC to create joint venture CPLG Pullman in the Russian market. With this announcement, VNCP’s business in Russia has shifted to the new CPLG Pullman entity.
Maarten Weck, Managing Director, Northern Europe, CPLG adds: “CPLG began representing VNCP in Benelux more than 15 years ago. Since that time, we’ve expanded our relationship to include the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey. We are looking forward to this exciting new chapter in with the addition of Russia to our VNCP portfolio.”
