Comedy Writer Aaron Izek Developing New Live-Action Series for Nickelodeon

CBS has announced the exciting news that comedy writer and director Aaron Izek is currently developing a brand-new live-action series with Nickelodeon! Details of the new project are being kept under wraps for the time being.

Aaron Izek is a comedy writer and director with a background in sketch. Born in the frozen tundra of Minnesota, Aaron fled to Los Angeles and graduated from USC’s film school and playwriting program. Previously, he’s written for The CW’s Fan Talk online and put up multiple shows with the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and the comedy group The ScubaGuyz, while also working on video sketches which have been featured by CollegeHumor. Aaron’s had multiple scripts get “second rounded” by the Austin Film Festival, and has just been selected as one of the six writers that will be participating in CBS' 2018-19 writer development program, The Writers Mentoring Program. Aaron will continue to write, direct and perform regularly around Los Angeles whilst working on the new Nickelodeon show.

Aaron's on-screen credits include: The First & Last Dates (Short), The Weeklings Pilot (TV Movie), Why the Sea Is Boiling (Short), Dropout (TV Series), I Bee-lieve You Can Fly (Short), and 101 Ways to Get Rejected (TV Series), and his off-screen credits include: The Weeklings Pilot (writer), Semblance (writer, director, producer and sound designer), Memorial Day (art department pa), Magic Act (set decorator), and CW FanTalk: The Flash (associate producer).
