Nick@Nite USA will host the Nickelodeon network premiere of the action-packed blockbuster movie Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) on Thursday 3rd May 2018 at 8:00 P.M. (ET/PT)!
When his scientific theories rubbished by his eminent colleagues, Professor Trevor Anderson (Brendan Fraser) sets off on a backpacking expedition to Iceland to get away from it all with his nephew Sean (Josh Hutcherson) and local guide Hannah (Anita Briem). Stumbling across a previously unknown cave system, they get trapped in a cavern. As they follow their only escape route deeper and deeper below the Earth's surface, the explorers soon find themselves journeying deeper and deeper into the earth's core, on a rollercoaster ride into an unknown world populated by incredible never-before-seen creatures, such as man-eating plants, lava lakes, and some seriously hungry dinosaurs, and encountering objects never before imagined. But as volcanic activity around them increases, they realize they must find their way out -- soon. Director Eric Brevig's adaptation of the classic Jules Verne adventure story is the first live-action feature to be shot in digital 3-D, and is sure to deliver fun for the whole family!
