Papaya Bull is an animated series that tells the story of best friends Cacupé and Sócrates. However, one big difference between Cacupé and Sócrates and other best friends is that Cacupé is human and Socrates is an ox! The two live on Papaya Island, where oxen are companions who help with day-to-day activities. But Sócrates is different. Besides talking and being very intelligent, he does not like to be called an ox. The pair make for one perfectly unlikely duo - Cacupé wants to enjoy life to the fullest, but Sócrates is and full of neuroses.
Papaya Bull is co-produced by São Paulo-based production company Birdo Studio (Cartoon Network Brasil's Oswaldo) and Santa Catarina-based animation studio 52 Animation Studio, in partnership with Boutique Filmes. The series made its debut on Nickelodeon Brasil on Monday 2nd October 2017.
