Talented dancer, singer and actress JoJo Siwa will star in this half-hour special as she recounts all the experiences in her life that led up to her biggest moment ever – officially becoming a Nickelodeon star and performing for her fans at the largest shopping centre in the United States, the Mall of America, home of Nickelodeon Universe.
Catch her very first television special on Nickelodeon for the chance to see how this superstar gets to live out her dream — dancing, singing, and calling all the shots! With family, friends, and her trusty pup BowBow by her side, there’s nothing JoJo can’t crush!
During the week of the JoJo Siwa: My World special, JoJo will share her favourite Nick shows with episodes featuring celebs such as Maddie Ziegler, Emma Stone and One Direction, on weekdays at 5pm on Nick AU/NZ. Special episodes of shows include The Thundermans, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, iCarly, Game Shakers and School of Rock.
After quickly realising she had a love for dance at age two, Siwa began taking classes in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet. Since discovering her love for dance as a toddler, Siwa has gone on to hit some major milestones in her budding career, including becoming the youngest contestant to appear on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition at just 8 years old, and also starring in Dance Moms.
Siwa has garnered an incredible social media following, connecting with her fans in several different ways: through social media, where she currently has over 5.9 million followers on Instagram, 11.4 million followers on Musical.ly, 282,000 Twitter followers and 654 million views on her YouTube channel; through her SIWANATOR club which stands against negativity and bullying; through her varied line of consumer products; and with her single, “Boomerang,” which has been viewed more than 290 million times.
Nickelodeon has a successful relationship with the teen sensation, regularly collaborating on an extensive global consumer product range across categories including apparel, accessories, home, toys, party and publishing.
On air, Siwa can also be seen in Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special. This variety special, interspersed with comedy sketches and musical numbers, follows fan-favourite Nickelodeon stars as they celebrate summer at a sleepaway camp.
