Arabia's Kids In Motion 2018 To Host PAW Patrol: 'The Big Show Rescue' Live Show [Updated]

Arabia - Nickelodeon's live PAW Patrol show "The Big Show Rescue" will be coming to the Kids In Motion 2018 this February and March!


In its 7th successful Saudi edition, Kids In Motion awaits fans with extreme enthusiasm! The Kids Expo and festival is a celebration of kids’ world in the Middle East. Under one umbrella, world-class branded live shows will take place - this year featuring Paw Patrol and Masha and The Bear, while over 75 kids leading brands will be showcasing and exhibiting their products!


In PAW Patrol "The Big Show Rescue", Ryder welcomes everyone to Adventure Bay as Mayor Goodway is putting on The Big Adventure Bay show. The show promises to be amazing because Paw Patrol are going to be the stars. Chase, Rubble, Skye, Marshall and Ryder fix the backdrop and prepare the confetti rocket for the finale. Still, Mayor Humdinger is upset for being left out. In response for a call to ‘bring the house down,’ the kitties scratch the backdrop, demolish the scenery and take the confetti rocket. Everything is ruined. Paw Patrol get desperate; impossible to have a show without a stage! Ryder quickly takes action and distributes the tasks to Skye, Rubble to fix the stage while Chase and Marshall find the kittens and get the confetti rocket back! Can they do it in time? Kids In Motion 2018 will take place at Jeddah on Thursday 15th, Friday 16th and Saturday 16th February 2018 and in Riyadh on Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd March 2018.

1. What are the main reasons for you to participate in Kids In Motion 2018?
KIM proved to be one of the most successful events in Saudi Arabia attracting families from all the kingdom plus Saudi kids have a solid foundation and awareness on the Nickelodeon brand from which to build skills and equip them to succeed in the future.

2. What are you precisely looking forward to at this happening in particular?
Being one of the leading family entertainment brand and company in the world, we want to connect directly with our fans and their families giving them the unique opportunity to live the brand experience, looking forward for an exciting engagement with families and kids in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

3. Tell us more about the brand you are participating with in Kids In Motion and how would you expect the reaction of the Saudi audience to be with your brand?
Nickelodeon is a safe place for families, we develop high quality, innovative and unique experiences by leveraging the power of our brand. The relationship consumers have with our brand is valuable and edutainment.

4. For the past 4 editions we noticed that Nickelodeon has always been part of the stage with Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob, Dora The Explorer and this year with Paw Patrol which shows that you are giving a special attention to the Saudi Audience. In what ways and why?
Nickelodeon has a very strong presence in KSA specially as a channel on pay TV and is amongst OSN’s top performing channels on the platform which has the highest numbers of subscribers and not to forget the “Free to Air” Nickelodeon block on MBC3 which is reaching millions of kids in the MENA region.


5. How do you evaluate the Nickelodeon's partnership in terms of licensing with EventBox, knowing it had won The Best Performance award in 2017?
Event Box is simply not a regular event management licensee, based on our business experience EB is a solid partner for so many years to come. Winning the Best Performance Award in 2017 is a proof of the strong partnership with Viacom.

6. And in the licensing sector in general?
Our history started in the late 90’s where we started licensing our first hits Rugrats and Blues Clues. Soon afterwards the global launch of our evergreen beloved hits, Dora the explorer and SpongeBob rapidly grew our business, leaving a remarkable Nickelodeon footprint in the licensing environment in the last couple of years.

Thanks to our strong partnership with MBC group and MBC3 in particular as the strongest local “Free To Air” TV channel for kids in the Middle East which helped us to drove our Consumer Products business to a different level.

Today we are at the tremendous success of Paw Patrol as the number one preschool property followed by new hits such as Blaze and Shimmer & Shine.
Our strong property The Turtles “TMNT” is still holding a strong position in the older boys age group and the loveable Jojo Siwa in the tween world.

7. We see Nickelodeon present on different panels: entertainment in shopping malls, stage shows, TV, consumer products ….) - What are the future plans for Nickelodeon in the region? Are you looking for more expansion?
Seeing the latest progress from Viacom in these fields, I can say it’s just the beginning for a successful plans in the MENA region.

8. Finally, how do you think that the new strategy of the GEA will affect Nickelodeon’s brands and live shows in particular?
There is no better time in the Kingdom for our brand and engagement with our fans and audience as of now, this is all of the great vision of GEA to bring the best of contents to kids and families. Our properties focus on education & entertainment which makes it appealing to all family members.

OSN brings Nickelodeon learn and play experience to kids festival

OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network, is helping kids in Saudi Arabia to learn through a fun activation with Nickelodeon, at the “Kids in Motion Expo & Festival” in Jeddah and Riyadh this month.

“OSN and Nickelodeon invite you to live the stories you love from Feb. 15-17 at Jeddah Exhibition Center, and March 1-3 at Al-Nakheel Mall in Riyadh. Youngsters can immerse themselves in the colorful worlds of some of their favorite shows with themed edutainment activities designed to keep young minds and bodies active,” a press release said.

Families visiting the OSN and Nickelodeon activation will get a chance to interact with Nickelodeon’s favorite characters in the creative playground. They can learn Spanish at Dora the Explorer’s “Pescado (fishing) Challenge,” go on the hunt with Paw Patrol’s “Bone Rescue,” and be an action hero with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “Bandana Challenge.” They also get an opportunity to meet and take photos with some of the channel’s characters.
