A huge congratulations to
iCarly star Nathan Kress and his wife, London Elise Moore who have just welcomed their first baby together!
Rosie Carolyn Kress was born just before 4 p.m. on Thursday 21st December 2017, four days before Christmas, weighing in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces.
The actor revealed the news on
Instagram on Friday evening, alongside a sweet photo of him cradling their swaddled newborn.
"'This is the start... This is your heart... This is the day you were born. This is the sun... these are your lungs... This is the day you were born. And I am always, always, always yours. Hallelujah, I'm cavin' in... hallelujah, I'm in love again,'" Nathan wrote, quoting lyrics from Switchfoot's 2009 song "Always."
Kress and Moore met on the set of
Into the Storm, Kress's first major film appearance. The 25-year-old actor has worked steadily since
iCarly came to a close, and even launched a directorial career, directing episodes of Nickelodeon's
Henry Danger and
Game Shakers, both of which are created by Dan Schneider, who also created iCarly. Earlier this year, Kress guest starred as himself on a episode of
Game Shakers, to
celebrate the 10th anniversary of iCarly.
Kress and Moore got engaged in May of 2015, then married in November in front of family and friends, including
iCarly stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor. They first announced that they were expecting a child this past July.
In addition to
Into the Storm, Moore has appeared in several big studio movies, including
Insidious 3 and
Need for Speed.

Instagram. "It's amazing thinking about what has happened in such a short time—loads of ups, our fair share of downs, but nevertheless, an unstoppable partnership that only gets better as the months go by...I'm so ridiculously blessed to live life with someone who still makes this kind of giddiness happen, again and again. Happy Anniversary, Lon! Here's to all the rest of em :)"

wrote on her own page, alongside a selfie showing the two wearing "Mr." and "Mrs." shirts. "Thank you for all the kind anniversary blessings and wishes to us, people! Y'all are rad."
