Nickelodeon Germany To Premiere "Rusty Rivets" And "Nella The Princess Knight" This Autumn

Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) is inviting preschoolers on more wonderful adventures with the debut of two of Nickelodeon's newest animated preschool series this Autumn, Rusty Rivets and Nella the Princess Knight!


Rusty Rivets

There's always a big adventure in Nickelodeon's brand-new animated preschool series, Rusty Rivets! Created and produced by Spin Master Entertainment (PAW Patrol), the show follows Rusty, a 21st century kid hero who always saves the day by relying on his imagination and incredible resourcefulness. Inspired by the DIY culture of the maker movement, Rusty Rivets helps preschoolers gain confidence and fuel their creativity with a strong focus on inventing, creating and problem solving.

In Rusty Rivets, 10-year-old Rusty, along with his best bud Ruby, invents his way out of every jam by repurposing spare parts and found objects into the wildest, coolest, most awesome contraptions ever. The series encourages kids to use their imaginations to design and create fun new gadgets and inventions.

Rusty Rivets will premiere on Nickelodeon Deutschland on Monday 18th September 2017, and will air everyday at 07:50 Uhr, during Nickelodeon's popular Nick Jr. preschool programming block.



Nella the Princess Knight

Nella is a confident 8-year-old princess who likes dancing at extravagant balls just as much as she likes meeting fire-breathing dragons. She transcends traditional roles and expectations through her ability to transform into Nella the Princess Knight, protecting her kingdom with the help of her friends: Trinket, Nella's glamorous unicorn and best friend; Sir Garrett, a loyal and adventurous knight; and Clod, Garrett's trusty steed.

Locally titled Nella, die Ritterprinzessin, the series will premiere on Nickelodeon Deutschland on Monday 2nd October 2017, and will air weekdays at 08:10 Uhr and weekends at 08:20 Uhr, during Nickelodeon's popular Nick Jr. preschool programming block.

Prior to the shows debut on Nickelodeon Deutschland, Nella, die Ritterprinzessin premiered on Nickelodeon Germany's dedicated preschool channel, Nick Jr. Deutschland in June 2017.

September 2017 – Der Start in den Herbst wird für die kleinsten Nickelodeon-Zuschauer nicht nur besonders bunt sondern auch sehr aufregend: Nick Jr. startet gleich zwei neue Vorschulserien, die zu wundervollen Abenteuern einladen. Den Anfang macht 'Rusty Rivets', ab dem 18. September täglich um 07:50 Uhr. Am 02. Oktober startet dann 'Nella, die Ritterprinzessin' und läuft fortan immer montags bis freitags um 08:10 Uhr bei Nick Jr.

In 'Rusty Rivets' dreht sich alles um den 10-jährigen Rusty. Rusty liebt alles was mit Technik zu tun hat. Zusammen mit seiner besten Freundin Ruby und seinem Roboter-Dino „Botasaurus“ erlebt er spannende Abenteuer. Mit seinem außerordentlichen Einfallsvermögen schafft er es immer wieder auch die kniffligsten Aufgaben und brenzligsten Probleme zu lösen. In 'Rusty Rivets' werden die Zuschauer kontinuierlich dazu animiert, ihre Vorstellungskraft zu nutzen, um gemeinsam mit Rusty Lösungsansätze zu finden und kreative Hilfsmittel zu erfinden.

Premiere von 'Rusty Rivets' ist am 18. September. Die Serie läuft dann immer täglich um 07:50 Uhr im Nick Jr. Vorschulprogramm.

Hinter 'Nella, die Ritterprinzessin' verbirgt sich genau das, was der Name verspricht: Nella ist eine Prinzessin, sie lebt in einem Schloss, sie trägt ein wallendes Prinzessinnen-Kleid und ihr Diadem sitzt ebenfalls immer perfekt. Doch was Nella von anderen Prinzessinnen unterscheidet ist ganz entscheidend: Sie ist auch eine Ritterin. Die selbstbewusste 8-jährige nimmt die Zuschauer mit auf die Reise in fantastische Welten und spannende Abenteuer. Ihre Liebe zum Tanzen und zu opulenten Festen ist dabei genauso groß wie ihre Faszination für feuerspeiende Drachen – und ihr Ritterherz.

Nickelodeon Germany To Premiere "I Am Frankie" On Monday 23rd October 2017

A cutting edge, experimental android navigates the perils and wonders of being a teenager in I Am Frankie, Nickelodeon’s newest serialized live-action show, debuting Monday 23rd October 2017 at 20:05 Uhr on Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland)! I Am Frankie tells the story of Frankie Gaines (Alex Hook), who looks like any other human girl, but harbors a big secret--she functions as a high-tech computer, complete with internet access, extensive memory and more. The series premieres daily, Monday through Friday, at 20:05 Uhr. on Nickelodeon Deutschland.

I Am Frankie will also start to air daily at 19:10 Uhr on Nickelodeon Austria (Österreich) and Nickelodeon Switzerland (Schweiz) from Monday 23rd October 2017.


After escaping from tech company EGG Labs to avoid being used for evil purposes, Frankie enrolls in high school in an attempt to pass as a typical teenager. Despite having an inside full of wires and circuits, Frankie begins to adapt well by bonding with her new best friend Dayton (Nicole Alyse Nelson), juggling loads of homework and dealing with boy crushes, all while keeping her true identity a secret.

Suspicion soon arises about Frankie, as popular girls Tammy (Mohana Krishnan), Lucia (Uriel Baldesco) and Makayla (Kristi Beckett) question her quick victory during a math competition. To complicate things even further, Frankie’s wiring goes haywire as she starts experiencing human emotion, creating more challenges and adventurous fun. How long can she keep her true identity a secret while maintaining herself as a normal teenager?



Filmed in the new state-of-the-art Viacom International Studios in Miami, I am Frankie was originally produced as Yo Soy Franky by Nickelodeon Latin America in Colombia. The series is created by renowned Argentine writer Marcela Citterio. The English language version is produced by Paradiso Pictures and Nickelodeon Latin America.

I Am Frankie received its world premiere on Monday 11th September 2017 on Nickelodeon USA, and is currently being distributed to Nickelodeon’s global audiences spanning 170+ countries and territories via the brand’s more than 80 channels and branded blocks.

Hasbro, Inc. has announced the super news that Beyblade Burst has been a ratings success for Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) following the series premiering on the channel on Saturday 22nd July 2017, recording a peak market share of 18.7% in the channels core target group of 3-13 year old viewers! Beyblade Burst airs every Saturday morning during Nickelodeon Deutschland's boys action programming block.

Six-Issue Miniseries Debuts with Two Issues in December



BURBANK, CA and SAN DIEGO, CA – (September 13, 2017) – Gotham’s Dark Knight joins forces with New York’s Heroes in A Half-Shell this December as DC Entertainment and IDW Publishing today announced plans for BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II, a six-issue follow up to the smash-hit crossover series of 2015. Writer James Tynion IV (BATMAN, DETECTIVE COMICS) and artist Freddie Williams II (HE-MAN/THUNDERCATS) will reunite for this second meeting of two icons of pop culture.

“What DC and IDW started with Batman/TMNT in 2015 continues to spark interest with fans of these characters that have worldwide recognition,” said DC SVP Editorial Strategy & Administration, Hank Kanalz. “We can't wait to see what James and Freddie deliver this time around.”

When Donatello goes looking for a new mentor to help him improve his fighting skills, he opens a doorway to another reality, hoping to summon the Turtles’ one-time ally, Batman. But instead, he gets sent to Gotham City and someone else comes through the open portal —Bane! Suddenly, there’s a new gang boss in New York and he’s out to unite all the other bad guys under him. Can Donnie get back in time and bring Batman with him to help his brothers before Bane causes irreparable destruction?

As an added bonus for fans, the first two issues will release in December before going monthly. Issue #1 hits comics retailers and digital outlets on December 6, with issue #2 following two weeks later on December 20.
