While superhero movies have been booming at the box office for nearly a decade now, another crime-fighting duo has been saving the world one piece of bubblegum at a time on Nickelodeon.
For the uninitiated, Henry Danger follows the adventures of Henry Hart (Jace Norman) as he navigates a double life, facing the challenges of being a normal teenager while managing the craziness being a superhero’s sidekick. The series has been one of the Nick's highest-rated programs for the past three seasons and, with a fourth season and a animated spin-off titled The Adventures Of Kid Danger And Captain Man recently announced, the Kids' Choice Award-winning series shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
During a recent interview with The Huffington Post for AOL’s Build Series, Norman opened up about how Henry Danger pulls back the curtain on the daily life of a superhero and how the show has evolved since its early days.
“I think that what makes the show really great, in my opinion, is that the superheroes are the most irresponsible people and they should not be defending anybody,” Norman said. “They can barely take care of themselves. People still think, ‘Oh, there are these amazing superheroes,’ but you see the behind the scenes of us and we don’t even know what’re doing. I’m literally more mature than my superior superhero. You know behind the scenes it’s a mess, but you can see from other people’s perspectives it looks like we’re actual superheroes.”
Although Henry Danger isn’t afraid of a fight sequence here or there, much of the action takes place in a secret lair called the Man Cave where a band of misfits help Captain Man, the town’s local superhero, to ward off evil, one mistake and crazy invention at a time.
One day, Norman hopes to play a big-time superhero, but as for now, he’s content with the character development on Henry Danger, as the show has grown up along with him.
“Me and Henry grew at the same time. When I started, I was this nervous kid and then Henry was this nervous kid because he just got this job,” Norman said. “That’s kind of the transition I’ve been making in the show. [In] Season 3, the character of Henry has been going in that direction.”

Durham Performing Arts Center, NC Adds Fifth PAW Patrol Live! "Race To The Rescue" Show
Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, North Carolina has announced the PAWsome news that, due to high demand for tickets, they have added a fifth performance of the brand-new PAW Patrol live show, PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue" in May 2017!
The newly added performance will take place at 6:00pm on Saturday 20th May 2017. Tickets for all five performances (Saturday 20th May 2017 at 10am, 2pm and 6pm) and Sunday 21st May 2017 at 10am and 2pm) are available to purchase now on Ticketmaster.
Presented by VStar Entertainment Group, and based on Nickelodeon's number-one CG-animated preschool series that kids love, the first-ever, musical, live action version of the animated canines will take the stage at DPAC with PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue"!
PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue" brings everybody's favorite pups to the stage for an action-packed, high-energy, musical adventure. When Mayor Goodway goes missing during the day of The Great Adventure Bay Race, Ryder, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Skye and Everest come to the rescue! The 75-minute production, which includes two acts and an intermission, shows that "no job is too big, no pup is too small," and shares lessons for all ages about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.
The performance features up-tempo music and dance, and a brand new cleverly written original script that is a good introduction to live theater for kids. Classic theatrical scenery along with a high-tech video wall visually transports families to an authentic PAW Patrol environment, including locations from the TV series, like Adventure Bay, The Lookout, Seal Island, Farmer Yumi's farm and Jake's Mountain. Special interactive video allows the audience to participate via interviews, solve clues and puzzles with the Pups, follow Mayor Goodway and much more.
PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue", the first touring live show starring Ryder and the team of pups, features innovative costuming. Using Bunraku, puppetry elements are built into costumes worn by performers to create life-size pups that wag their tails, blink their eyes, move their mouths and engage the audience throughout their adventure. The costume design brings a fun, realistic parallel between the animated series and the live show. Each pup's all-important Pup Pack and vehicle also makes an appearance during the show.
Led by Ryder, a 10-year-old boy, the plucky pups are rescue Dogs - each one inspired by a real-world job such as a fire fighter, police officer and a construction worker. Rocky, who is known for being handy, is the Pup who likes to say: “Why do you wanna trash it, when you can stash it?”
In “Race to the Rescue,” the team is called in to find Mayor Goodway, who is supposed to be competing in the Great Adventure Bay Race against Mayor Humdinger of neighboring Foggy Bottom, but is nowhere to be found.

New Movies & Series
YTV packs the pranks on April Fool’s Day with back-to-back premieres of two new Canadian original television movies Bruno & Boots: This Can’t Be Happening At Macdonald Hall and Bruno & Boots: The Wizzle War on Saturday, April 1 beginning at 6 p.m. ET/PT.
Based on the much-loved Macdonald Hall series by best-selling author Gordon Korman, the movies star the original cast from Bruno & Boots: Go Jump in the Pool!: Jonny Gray (Max & Shred, Ride), Callan Potter (The Other Kingdom), Peter Keleghan (18 To Life, Murdoch Mysteries) and Caroline Rhea (Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Phineas and Ferb).
In This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall, Headmaster Sturgeon has had enough. In an attempt to put an end to Bruno and Boots’ high jinks, he declares that they are to be separated; no shared classes and, most certainly, no shared dorm room. This punishment is worse than anything the boys could have imagined. However, if Bruno and Boots can alienate every boy in Dormitory 3, Sturgeon will be forced to re-unite them. The plot almost succeeds, but one misstep forces the girls from the Scrimmage Academy for Education and Awakening to move into Macdonald Hall, leaving Bruno and Boots back where they started. This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall premieres Saturday, April 1 at 6 p.m. ET/PT. Click here for the trailer.
In The Wizzle War, the Board of Directors launch an experimental educational program, introducing authoritarian Assistant Headmaster Mr. Wizzle to the boys of Macdonald Hall and the miserable Assistant Headmistress Ms. Peabody to whip the girls of the Scrimmage Academy into shape. With new dress codes, psychological testing, and early-morning wake-up calls with track laps as punishment, the boys and girls decide Wizzle and Peabody have to go. But how? As they pull out all the stops, they ultimately turn to the theory that “love conquers all” to oust the pair once and for all. The Wizzle War premieres Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Click here for the trailer.
Bruno & Boots: This Can’t Be Happening At Macdonald Hall and Bruno & Boots: The Wizzle War are produced by Anthony Leo and Andrew Rosen of Aircraft Pictures (Raising Expectations, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil) in association with YTV. The films are directed by Vivieno Caldinelli (Bruno & Boots: Go Jump In The Pool, This Hour has 22 Minutes) and the screenplay for This Can’t Be Happening At Macdonald Hall was written by Adam Barken and Mike McPhaden. McPhaden also wrote the screenplay for The Wizzle War. Bruno & Boots: This Can’t Be Happening At Macdonald Hall and Bruno & Boots: The Wizzle War were produced with the financial participation of the Shaw Rocket Fund and the Canadian Media Fund.
Bruno & Boots fans can experience all the fun of Macdonald Hall with Prank Power Play, a new set of games featuring all the characters from the movies. Users will be able to launch a cannon of suds in Cannon Craze, or be the master prankster by creating a prank machine in Scheming Schematics. Click here to play.
April showers bring May meatballs? YTV has some extreme weather alerts to report this Spring with the highly-anticipated premiere of the new animated series Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs airing Monday to Thursday at 6 p.m. ET/PT beginning April 10.
Based on Sony Pictures Animation’s critically-acclaimed blockbuster film franchise, the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs series takes place before giant food rains down on Swallow Falls. Flint Lockwood is a high school student who strives to be a serious inventor in a world beyond sardines…and maybe one day have his inventions change the world instead of blowing up in his face. Luckily, joining the cause is his best friend and aspiring meteorologist, Sam Sparks. Flint and Sam come together for comedic adventures with all the great characters from the film: Flint’s dad, Tim; Flint’s lab assistant, Steve the monkey; Earl, the school’s busiest teacher; Manny, the head of the school’s audiovisual department; Brent, the local teenage celebrity and captain of the mascot team; and Mayor Shelbourne, who wins every election with a pro-sardine platform, and more.
The Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs series stars an all Canadian cast including Mark Edwards (Rocket Monkeys), Katie Griffin (Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race), David Berni (Scaredy Squirrel), Seán Cullen (Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong), Patrick McKenna (Camp Lakebottom), and Clé Bennett (Private Eyes). The series is produced by DHX Media and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Corus Entertainment.
Follow five foster kids on an adventure-filled quest to find their missing parents who mysteriously disappear in Nickelodeon’s new live-action series, Hunter Street premiering Wednesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT on YTV.
After spending his first night in his new home, Max, along with new siblings Tess, Anika, Sal and Daniel wake up to find their foster parents, Erik and Kate have vanished. In order to crack the case, the siblings set out on a quest for clues, leading them on an epic and suspenseful family adventure, including boat racing through canals, exploring secret tunnels and uncovering lost treasures. With obstacles at every turn, they must also fight off old family rivals and duplicitous heirs in order to solve the mystery.

Watch Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) sing "You're The Reason" for her sister Trina (Daniella Monet) in this fantastic music video from Victorious episode "The Birthweek Song"! Sing-along with the lyrics below:
Canción de Cumpleaños - Victorious - Nickelodeon Latinoamérica
¿Alguna vez quisiste un regalo asÃ? ¡Revive otro GRAN momento de Victorious!
"You're The Reason" karaoke lyrics:
I don't want to make a scene
I don't want to let you down
Try to do my own thing and
I'm starting to figure it out that it's all right
Keep it together, wherever we go and it's all right
Oh well, whatever, everybody needs to know
You might be crazy
Have I told you lately that I love you?
You're the only reason that I'm not afraid to fly
And it's crazy that someone could change me
Now no matter what it is I have to do
I'm not afraid to try
And you need to know that you're the reason why
If it was raining, you would yell at the sun
Pick up the pieces when the damage is done
You say it's just another day in the shade
But look at what a mess we made
You might be crazy
Have I told you lately that I love you?
You're the only reason that I'm not afraid to fly
And it's crazy that someone could change me
Now no matter what it is I have to do, I'm not afraid to try
And you need to know that you're the reason why

South Florida Film Industry Gets Boost With Nickelodeon’s "I Am Frankie"
It’s a big boost for South Florida’s TV industry.
Viacom International Studios in downtown Miami will be the backdrop for Nickelodeon’s upcoming series, I Am Frankie.
The new series, which is the first to be produced at the state-of-the-art Miami studio, is the story of Frankie, an experimental android that has to navigate the struggles of being a teenager.
The series brought in a big cast and about half of them are Florida natives.
Carson Rowland, from Boca Raton, said, “I am extremely just happy that I was placed in this cast. A lot of other opportunities have passed and the doors closed and I’m so happy that this one opened.”
For the past three months, the cast called the 17,000-square-foot set home. With eight sets and non-stop work, the series is finally coming together.
CBS4's Bianca Peters sat down with three cast members who said, “We come when the sun rises and we leave when the sun sets. For some weeks we don’t even see the sun.”
Although the crew puts in many hours, their enthusiasm for the show has taken center stage.
“I really feel like teens around the world, because it’s going to be broadcast around the world, they’re going to really relate to the show and I think it’s going to be a hit.”
I Am Frankie will premiere on Nickelodeon later this year.

"The Thundermans" Actor Jack Griffo gives his advice for up-and-coming actors in Hollywood
A lot of kids dream of one day being on TV, especially on Nickelodeon or Disney Channel.
Well, Jack Griffo is living that dream!
After moving to LA at the young age of 13, Griffo eventually landed the part of Max Thunderman on Nickelodeon's hit superhero-themed original comedy series The Thundermans. The sitcom follows a typical suburban family with secret superpowers, and mainly focuses on Max, Griffo's character, and Phoebe, his twin sister who is played by Kira Kosarin.
While Griffo is loving his life on Nickelodeon and taking advantage of every opportunity there, he also has his sights set on the future, and is taking acting classes at Stella Adler in efforts to continue to expand his knowledge.
When he's not acting, Griffo spends his time playing music, and has some cover songs featured on his YouTube channel.
More recently, Griffo completed his work portraying a child named Noah on a film called Those Left Behind.
AOL Entertainment recently had the chance to chat with Griffo about his inspiration, his acting beginnings, getting slimed, and much more. Additionally, in a interview with AOL's Build series, Jack also revealed that the cast of The Thundermans have a "fifth cycle" (season) written into their Nickelodeon contracts! Isabela Moner Reveals Why Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards Was Her Most Special KCA Ever
2017 is going to be Isabela Moner's year. Her anticipated new movie, Transformers: The Last Knight, is coming out soon, and the actress even teased an exclusive clip at Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards with her Transformers: The Last Knight co-star Benjamin Flores Jr.
