De Ludwigs follows the comedic adventures of the Ludwig family, a family of five foster children and their step parents, who live in an imposing Amsterdam canal house that also serves as a museum. In season one, when their parents mysteriously disappeared, the five Ludwigs siblings were dragged into a thrilling adventure where the mysterious family history of the Ludwigs was gradually unravelled.
In De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief, the Ludwig children are busy preparing a surprise banquet to celebrate the tenth wedding anniversary of their parents, Erik and Kate. When an extremely precious ring is stolen, the children have to find the culprit and get the ring back so they can continue preparing the feast. As real detectives, the kids investigate the case of the stolen ring using the images of their vlog cameras to solve the mystery. De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief will see the cast of De Ludwigs reprise their respective roles: Tooske and Bastiaan Ragas (Erik and Kate), Timo Verbeek (Benny), Luca Hollestelle (Yara), Rosaline Lantink (Anoosha), Yassine El Ouardi (Daniel), Cedric Van Den Abbeele (Sam) and Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing (Simone) te zien. De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief will also feature a cameo by Nickelodeon presenter Iris Hesseling.

De Ludwigs is the Dutch version of Nickelodeon's upcoming international adventure comedy series Hunter Street, set to debut on Nick USA on Monday 13th March 2017 and on Nickelodeon's international channels soon after.
Hunter Street series shares the same sets and scripts as its Dutch counterpart, and has also been shot in Amsterdam. The international version of De Ludwigs will also see Tooske Ragas reprise her role of 'Kate'.

Tooske en Bastiaan Ragas keren terug in nieuwe Nickelodeon-serie De Ludwigs- Wie is de dief?
De Ludwigs zijn terug! Na het succes van het eerste seizoen is de allerleukste familie uit Amsterdam vanaf maandag 10 april te zien in een nieuw avontuur op Viacom-zender Nickelodeon: De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief? In De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief? keert de cast uit de populaire serie De Ludwigs terug om een nieuw mysterie op te lossen in een losstaande special van 8 afleveringen. Ook Tooske en Bastiaan Ragas zijn weer te zien als ouders Kate en Erik. De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief? is vanaf 10 april maandag t/m donderdag om 19.00 uur te zien bij Nickelodeon.
In De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief? zijn de Ludwig-kinderen druk bezig met de voorbereidingen van een verrassingsfeestmaal ter ere van het tienjarig huwelijksfeest van hun ouders Erik en Kate. Wanneer een extreem kostbare ring wordt gestolen, hebben de kinderen minder dan 24 uur de tijd om de dader te vinden, de ring terug te krijgen en het feestmaal te bereiden. Als echte detectives gaan ze op onderzoek uit en gebruiken ze de beelden van hun vlogcamera’s om het mysterie op te lossen. Zal het ze lukken om op tijd de ring terug te vinden en het huwelijksfeest van Erik en Kate te redden?
Naast Tooske en Bastiaan Ragas zijn ook Timo Verbeek (Benny), Luca Hollestelle (Yara), Rosaline Lantink (Anoosha), Yassine El Ouardi (Daniel), Cedric Van Den Abbeele (Sam) en Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing (Simone) te zien. Ook is er o.a. een gastrol weggelegd voor Nickelodeon-gezicht Iris Hesseling.
De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief? is vanaf 10 april maandag t/m donderdag om 19.00 uur te zien bij Nickelodeon.
