The exterior shots of Drake & Josh's pad were of a house located at 3878 Alonzo Avenue in Encino, California. The show itself was filmed at Nickelodeon on Sunset, the same studio that housed Victorious and many other Nick shows.
The San Fernando Valley crib show producers used for exterior shots is up for a cool $1.85 million (US), and is wayyyyyyy different than it was on the show. (The magic of TV!) Drake and Josh shared a bedroom on TV ... but the real crib has enough space for both brothers, their parents and little sister, Megan, played by Miranda Cosgrove, to each have their own room. It's got 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, a tennis court and a pool. Looking at the actual interior of the home, Weatherman Bruce Winchell may have been able to afford this luxurious home, but weatherman Walter Nicholas sure couldn't.
The house even has its own private tennis court. No wonder everyone wanted to stay at the "Drake & Josh Inn" on that one episode!
On Thursday (December 14), Drake Bell retweeted @shvrkteeth's revelation.

Update (12/18) - from Seventeen:
Josh Peck Hung Out at the "Drake & Josh" House, So Not All of 2017 Is Bad
"Mom, I'm home!"
Christmas came early this year for Drake & Josh fans. Last week, Seventeen.com reported the house used for exterior shots on Drake & Josh was on the market for $1.85 million — and was a luxurious wonderland.
Drake Bell had retweeted a fan's comment about the house, and now Josh Peck has responded to the news in the most Josh Peck-like way. On Sunday (December 17), Josh 'grammed a pic of himself and friend/YouTuber/Drake & Josh superfan David Dobrik standing in front of the piece of Nickelodeon nostalgia. "Make your stalker your friend and they’re no longer your stalker! Thanks for the ride home, David," Josh captioned the pic.
It turns out, David blindfolded Josh and drove him to the house in Encino, California, documenting it all on his vlog. After the big reveal, Josh jokingly runs to the door, shouting, "Mom, I'm home!"
David began questioning Josh about the house and told him the inside has five bedrooms, to which Josh responded, "And we had to share the fucking attic?! Thanks a lot, Mom and Dad!"
Josh also pointed out how the house apparently has a tennis court — something we never saw on the show. "Guess the news channel is really paying Walter well," Josh joked. Actual LOL. You can watch the full clip here. Get ready to relive the magic. Magic!
