Brian Morante, a storyboard artist on Nickelodeon's hit original animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, has shared a few of the scenes he designed for Nickelodeon's brand-new spooky stop-motion special SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom, which unfortunately didn't make the final cut on his official Instagram profile page, @brian_morante! One of my favorite shots from my “Legends of Boo-kini Bottom” storyboard that didn’t make the final cut. I had the sails slowly moving in the breeze. I imagined slow foreboding music as we see Spongebob and Patrick roll up to the ghost ship as the ramp disappears behind them in a green fog. There’s no turning back!.. but there’s usually no time for “slow”. #spongebob #halloweenspecial #storyboard
