To celebrate Nickelodeon USA starting to premiere and show Top Wing very soon, Nickelodeon has digitally premiered the first episode of Nick's brand-new animated preschool series, "Time to Earn Our Wings" on NickJr.com and the Nick Jr. App!
In Top Wing, viewers are invited to join best friends Swift, Rod, Brody, and Penny for high-soaring adventures! At Top Wing Academy, this team of eager young Birds will try to earn their wings while helping others in their community. Together, each cadet will learn how to use their special skills to persevere through any problem.
In the series premiere, "Time to Earn Our Wings" (#101), the brand new Top Wing cadets gather at Top Wing Academy where they will learn to pilot their vehicles and become the best rescue team on Big Swirl Island! Parents and children can watch the first episode of Top Wing, as well as find out more information about the series and watch the official Top Wing theme song now at NickJr.com and on the Nick Jr. App.
Co-produced by Nickelodeon and Toronto, Ontario-based production company 9 Story Media Group, Top Wing (52 x 11 minute episodes) teaches preschoolers the importance of teamwork and models successful problem solving. The concept was created by Matthew Fernandes of the Industrial Brothers (Yup Yups, Gummandos). Top Wing is executive produced by Scott Kraft (The Fresh Beat Band, PAW Patrol).
Nickelodeon has secured exclusive rights to the series for its channels worldwide, excluding Canada.
Top Wing is part of Nickelodeon's commitment to increasing the networks roster of preschool programming. The series will join establish hits such as PAW Patrol, Nella the Princess Knight, Rusty Rivets, and the recently launched Sunny Day, and will be joined by upcoming preschool series Abby Hatcher, and Butterbean's Cafe soon.
