GARDENA, CA -- Andamiro USA Corp. has announced that it is shipping its latest amusement machines based on two popular Nickelodeon properties! Paw Patrol and SpongeBob Order Up are now available on the heels of solid initial test reports, according to Andamiro president of sales Drew Maniscalco.
Paw Patrol is based on Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated adventure preschool series of the same name that airs on Nick Jr.. It blends the play appeal of a single-button skill stop with the TV series' six canine characters and their human leader named Ryder. The game challenges players to send Ryder into a spin and to stop him at a desired point value on the wheel.
"I was initially concerned that Paw Patrol might have limited audience appeal as its demographic is very young," Maniscalco said. "However, kids of all ages are playing this game, and the license is getting stronger and stronger."
Andamiro is offering its arcade adaptation in an eye-catching package that was designed with input from Nickelodeon's artists. Paw Patrol measures 53.5" W. x 29.1" D. x 121.1" H. The lofty cabinet is modeled after the show's lookout tower, which Maniscalco says will stand out in any gameroom.
Also new in Andamiro's Nickelodeon arcade game collection is SpongeBob Order Up, a classic whacking game inspired by Nickelodeon's hit animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants. Imagine it's the busy lunchtime at the Krusy Krab -- encouraging players to use their spatulas to wallop Krabby Patties that pop up randomly. Those with the best spatula skills score more points and win the most tickets. The new game is available in several formats: ticket or non-ticket (amusement only), and in 1-, 2- and 4-player configurations.
"SpongeBob Order Up is going to be a staple product going forward," Maniscalco predicted. "It combines classic 'whacking' gameplay with an evergreen license."
SpongeBob Order Up measures 29.1" W. x 35" D. x 62.9" H. (68.1" H. with the topper).
Andamiro's whacker game is its second title inspired by the animated TV series SpongeBob SquarePants and its third Nickelodeon license. SpongeBob SquarePants, created by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, has grown into a massive media franchise and is the highest-rated series to ever air on Nickelodeon. As of 2015, the franchise has generated $12 billion in merchandising revenue for Nickelodeon.
Based in Gardena, CA, Andamiro USA Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Andamiro Entertainment, a Korean game manufacturer founded in 1992. Andamiro designs and produces ticket redemption amusements, prize merchandisers and sports games, along with the Pump It Dance dance simulator line. Andamiro opened its U.S. office in 2000 in southern California. Maniscalco can be reached at drew@andamirousa.com or (310) 767-5800.
