One epic prank leaves Bruno & Boots in BIG trouble in the brand-new Bruno & Boots movie This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall, premiering Friday 21st July 2017 at 6:00pm, only on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland!
Based on the much-loved Macdonald Hall book series by best-selling author Gordon Korman (Swindle), Bruno and Boots follows the adventures of Bruno Walton and Melvin "Boots" O'Neal, the most infamous troublemakers at Macdonald Hall, a prestigious school for boys. Within their time at the school, Bruno has managed to convince Boots to tag along during countless prank operations and they have never, ever been caught. At least, not until today… Bruno and Boots are called down to headmaster William “The Fish” Sturgeon’s office to receive a punishment far worse than anything they could have imagined. The Fish decrees that Bruno Walton and Boots O’Neal will immediately be moved into separate dorms, as far away from each other as possible!
In This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall (1 x 90'), the second film in the wildly successful Bruno and Boots franchise, Headmaster Sturgeon has had enough. In an attempt to put an end to Bruno and Boots’ high jinks, he declares that they are to be separated; no shared classes and, most certainly, no shared dorm room. This punishment is worse than anything the boys could have imagined. However, if Bruno and Boots can alienate every boy in Dormitory 3, Sturgeon will be forced to re-unite them. The plot almost succeeds, but one misstep forces the girls from the Scrimmage Academy for Education and Awakening to move into Macdonald Hall, leaving Bruno and Boots back where they started.
This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall (aka Bruno & Boots 2) made its world premiere on Saturday 1st April 2017 on YTV Canada.
This Can’t be Happening at Macdonald Hall stars the original cast from Bruno & Boots: Go Jump in the Pool!: Jonny Gray (Max & Shred, Ride - Mit Herz und Huf) as Bruno, Callan Potter (The Other Kingdom (Das Königreich der Anderen)) as Boots, Peter Keleghan (18 To Life, Murdoch Mysteries) as Headmaster William "The Fish" Sturgeon and Caroline Rhea (Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Phineas and Ferb) as Headmistress Eugenia Scrimmage.
