A company dealing with imported Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys has been found guilty of supplying counterfeit goods to stores across the British seaside town of Blackpool.
The Manchester-based Amazing Savings has denied trading around 250,000 fake TMNT action figures and other branded toys to high street shops.
The defendant, the firm's director Jonathan Kahn, has been found guilty of a total of 34 trademark offences, with sentencing set to pass this April 2017.
Counterfeit toys supplied by Amazing Savings were found on the shelves of B&M Bargains, Home Bargains and Lewis Home Retail. Among the fake products uncovered in raids conducted by Trading Standards Officers were counterfeit Spiderman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Pie Face toys and games.
