Nickelodeon Greece has announced the exciting news on their official website that Nickelodeon Greece will start to premiere and show the popular animated series LEGO FRIENDS every Sunday at 10:35am from Sunday 11th September 2016!
LEGO FRIENDS follows the adventures of Andrea, Emma, Mia, Olivia and Stephanie - a group of five friends who live in the fictional city of Heartlake City. Although each friend has a distinct personality and pursues their own unique interests, such as animals, performing arts, invention and design, they all have one common interest - true friendship!

Mumbai, September 8, 2016: Viacom18 is set to take the Indian animation industry to greater heights with the release of Motu Patlu King of Kings – the network’s maiden 3D stereoscopic animation theatrical. Two hugely successful divisions from the Viacom18 Network – Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Nickelodeon have joined hands to create the movie based on the very popular Lotpot characters Motu Patlu. The movie, produced by MAYA, will create a new milestone for Indian animation by promoting India’s vision of ‘Made In India’ content. The movie is slated to release on 14th October 2016, in Hindi and Tamil in over 700 screens across India.
Since its inception, Motu and Patlu have enjoyed a sweet spot in the minds of children and have over time become a phenomenal success for Viacom18 across television, digital and consumer products business lines. The network had previously released 10 Motu Patlu movies in the ‘made for TV’ format that received an overwhelming response, and the 11th movie marks the characters’ big screen debut. Post the theatrical release, the movie will also be aired on Nickelodeon and Viacom18’s digital platform, VOOT.
“An interesting confluence of 2 major developments has led to Motu Patlu’s silver screen debut. Firstly, the animation industry in India is rapidly evolving with a growth rate of ~13.8%, with over 15000 professionals working to create content for industries across the globe. Secondly, with an estimated 400mn kids in the country today, the kids category is the third largest in the Indian broadcast sector, after the GECs and Movies categories, with a sizeable headroom for growth in terms of both viewership and revenues.” Observed Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO, Viacom18, before adding, “The 10 Motu Patlu ‘made-for-television’ movies have contributed ~10% of Nick’s ratings, being amongst the top 5 every time we released one such movie. The science behind the art of moviemaking, a core philosophy of Viacom18 Motion Pictures, demanded that the characters debuted on the silver screen. In that sense Motu Patlu has had an interesting journey – starting with television, then moving into digital, capitalizing on their growing brand value through Viacom18 Consumer Products and now starring in their own movie.”

From being the leading show across the kids category on television and digital; creating brand licensing opportunities across product categories, curating a great merchandising line, to now taking the franchise to the silver screen – our endearing Motu Patlu have further deepened and strengthened our bond with kids across the country.
Some of the leading names from the Indian film industry have been roped for the movie. The film is directed by Suhas Kadav and veteran lyricist Gulzar has penned lyrics of the title track. Vishal Bharadwaj has composed the music and Sukhwinder has lent his voice for the soundtrack.

A 360 degree marketing and activation plan has been crafted for the movie. Apart from being promoted on Viacom18’s network, the movie will also be promoted across other network groups. In addition to being the exclusive destination for Viacom18's content portfolio, VOOT will also house premium kids content (VOOT Kids) and Digital Originals (VOOT Originals).
The 'Digital Next' workflow of PFT will utilize CLEAR Operations Cloud and Media Services to provide metadata tagging, quality control, packaging and delivery of content to VOOT.
Given the increase in demand for volume and speed from today's digital consumers, PFT helped VOOT process over 25,000 hours of content online -- all at a speed that resulted in the brand quickly becoming the leading online video platform in the country.

Nickelodeon Turkey To Premiere "Lost In The West" In September 2016
Nickelodeon Turkey has announced the exciting news in their latest cover photo and a series of posts on their official Facebook profile page, Facebook.com/NickelodeonTurkey, that Nickelodeon Turkey (Türkiye) will be premiering Lost in the West, Nickelodeon's brand-new three-part original TV movie, locally titled Vahşi Batı, about two time-traveling stepbrothers who saddle up for a crazy Wild West adventure after they get transported back in time to 1885 when one of them accidentally invents a time machine, over three weeks in September 2016!
Nickelodeon Turkey will debut Lost in the West "Part 1" on Friday 16th September 2016 (16 Eylül Cuma) at 17.45. Following the premiere of Lost in the West part one, Nick Türkiye will premiere Lost in the West "Part 2" on Friday 23rd September 2016 at 17.45. Nickelodeon Turkey will then debut the concluding part of Nickelodeon's brand-new Wild West adventure, "Part 3", on Friday 30th September 2016 at 17.45.
Saddle up for a Wild West adventure in Nickelodeon's all-new three-part original TV movie, Lost in the West! The film centres on polar opposite stepbrothers, Chip, an all-around tech genius who lacks self-confidence, and Dave, a charismatic ladies' man with more brawn than brains. Their otherwise ordinary lives take an extraordinary turn when Chip's latest invention accidently lands them back in time to 1885 - the Wild West - the age of cowboys, cattle ranching and evil outlaws. The duo soon become entangled in a thrilling adventure as they fight off evil outlaws to save their hometown. When their actions in the past have time-altering repercussions, Chip and Dave enlist the help of friends from both time periods, including Luna, Lisa and Texas Jane, so they can avoid changing the future and make it back to the present in time for their school's Homecoming Dance.
