Nickelodeon Italy And Klepierre Partner To Launch "Nickelodeon Extra Tour"
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Italia has partnered with Klepierre to launch the "Nickelodeon Extra Tour", a brand-new 10 stop tour of Italy starring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and PAW Patrol!
Between Saturday 28th May 2016 and Sunday 23rd October 2016, the "Nickelodeon Extra Tour" will visit 10 shopping centres around Italy. At each event, fans of all ages can meet and play with their heroes from Nickelodeon's Tartarughe Ninja and Nick Jr.'s PAW Patrol, and participate in activities designed for the whole family!
At each stop, the "Nickelodeon Extra Tour" will divide a dedicated space into three areas: Nick Jr., Nickelodeon and the Living Room:
The Nick Jr. area will feature the beloved Paw Patrol Puppies, the number one preschool property in 2016 in Italy. Fans will be able to play and learn at the same time by taking part in PAWsome activities, including a quiz educating preschoolers about road safety, fire safety and water safety, three very important topics Ryder, along with his friends, often face in the episodes of the series. Winners of the quiz will be awarded a special "Safe with Paw Patrol!!" badge! The quiz will aim to encourage the development of preschoolers "problem solving skills". Fans will also be able to participate in Pup-tastic PAW Patrol games, including a air cannon, where fans can try to grab as many bones to win a bone-shaped badge!
Older children will love the Nickelodeon Zone, starring the legendary Ninja Turtles! Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael train every day to defeat enemies, and at the Nickelodeon area, fans can become a Ninja for a day! Fans will be able to hone their Ninja skills by completing a course full of Ninja obstacles, including balancing on a pipe and jumping in hula hoops without touching them, and other fun games! Everyone who visits the Nickelodeon Zone will be able to leave their Ninja mark by colouring and signing the large murals that will be featured as a backdrop in photos in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character costume parade. Each participant will also be awarded a Turtley Awesome medal!
The surprises don't end there, as characters from Paw Patrol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will take part in special parades!
Finally, in the Living Room area, fans can relax and enjoy watching popular Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. shows!
Each "Nickelodeon Extra Tour" event will be free to participate in, and will feature a playful, engaging, educational and spectacular experience that fans will never forget!

Macy's Launches TMNT X Melo Capsule Collection
Nickelodeon has launched its brand-new range of apparel and accessories at Macy's in support of its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles property, with major support from NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony!
The limited-time capsule collection, TMNT X Melo, launched with an event held in Herald Square in New York City on Saturday 21st May 2016, with costume characters, basketball activations and more.
The TMNT x Melo collection will include graphic t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, pyjama sets and socks for boys, as well as basketballs and an over-the-door basketball hoop.
The collection was originally announced in March.

Nickelodeon Promotes Kristi Wasmer To SVP Of Retail Sales, Nickelodeon Consumer Products
Nickelodeon has promoted Kristi Wasmer to the role of Senior Vice President (SVP) of Retail Sales for Nickelodeon Consumer Products.
In her new role, Wasmer will oversee Nickelodeon's retail relationships and merchandising strategies for Target, Kmart, Sears, Kohl's and J.C. Penny, as well as all grocery retailers.
Wasmer has been with Viacom for more than 20 years and has overseen Nickelodeon's relationship with Target since opening the Minneapolis office in 2006. Since 2006, she has taken over responsibilities for additional mass, mid-tier, drug and grocery channels. During her tenure, she has developed and overseen retail promotions, product launches and marketing events for key Nickelodeon properties, ranging from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie promotion at Target in 2004 to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie program at Target in 2014.
Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Wasmer was responsible for marketing of all Simon & Schuster's licensed publishing efforts.

NECA Unveils "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" SDCC 2016 Exclusives Inspired By Konami's 1989 TMNT Arcade Game
Collectables specialist NECA has unveiled a brand-new limited edition line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures based on Konami's popular 1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade video game, which have been developed as exclusives to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2016!
The first of two box sets will feature the franchise's classic heroes: Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael in the image of their in-game, pixelated appearance.
The second box set will feature a line up of in-game villains as seen in the classic arcade game from Konami, including Foot Clad ninjas and the evil Shredder himself.
Sticking with the arcade theme, the boxes for each set perfectly recreate the game's character select screen and even includes a fold-down piece that mimics an actual arcade cabinet. Fake buttons, joysticks and even a "how to play" are all featured on the fold-down cover. It's less a box and more a Turtley Awesome display case.

The Nickelodeon Store Leicester Square Prepares To Celebrate First Birthday
The Nickelodeon Store Leicester Square is celebrating its first birthday on Monday 30th May 2016, and to celebrate, fans and customers are invited to enjoy special birthday-themed activities at the store on Saturday 28th May 2016!
Activities planned to celebrate the success of the shop over the last 12 months include a balloon artist for visitors, a colouring competition, as well as an appearance from Nickelodeon megastar SpongeBob SquarePants!

Over 20,000 colouring sheets have also been coloured in by Nickelodeon Store customers in the last 12 months.

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nickelodeon announced today that it has greenlit a 14-episode second season of its new animated series, The Loud House, rising to the top as the number-one animated kids' show on TV since its May 2 launch. The Loud House follows Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters for an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of growing up in a huge family. Season two will continue to take inspiration from creator and executive producer Chris Savino's life growing up in a family of 10 kids. The series airs weekdays at 5p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

The Loud House series is currently the number-one kids' animated show on TV, posting high double-digit gains over last year. Launch to date (5/2/16-5/20/16), the series is averaging a 3.3/981K among Kids 2-11 (up +57% over last year); 3.2/565K with Kids 6-11 (+68%); and delivering almost 2 million total viewers (1.8MM; +41%).

Glitch Techs (working title) has been picked-up for 20-episodes set to debut in 2018. Glitch Techs is an adventure-comedy following two newly recruited kids as they battle video game monsters that come to life in the real world. The brand-new series comes from Eric Robles (Fanboy & Chum Chum) and Dan Milano (Greg the Bunny, Warren the Ape), both hailing from Nickelodeon's Artist Collective, an internal artist-led development program. The series will be produced at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif.
In season two of The Loud House, Lincoln remains the man with the plan, navigating his way through the chaos of living in a family with 11 kids. The heart and comedy-filled adventures defining The Loud House will continue through a deeper dive into the unique personalities of Lincoln's sisters, as well as a spooky themed episode, a half-hour holiday special and more.
