Noggin, Nickelodeon's Video Subscription Service for Preschoolers, Expands to Roku Devices
NEW YORK(11/1/2016) -
Nickelodeon announced today that NOGGIN, the network’s top-ranked video subscription service for preschoolers, has expanded to Roku streaming players and Roku TV. Currently available on iOS and Apple TV, Android and Amazon, NOGGIN will also add the stop-motion series Mofy to its library of award-winning preschool shows beginning tomorrow. Mofy follows the title character, a shy female rabbit, as she grows her confidence through daily experiences while learning to understand and deal with different emotions.
NOGGIN is an ad-free, video subscription service that features hundreds of iconic, full-length library episodes, short-form videos, educational content, music videos featuring preschoolers’ favorite Nickelodeon characters, and more, with new content added weekly. Consistently ranking at the top of the charts in the Family and Kids categories, the NOGGIN App is one of the top 10 grossing Kids apps on the App Store, in addition to being the number-one grossing app for Music and Video in the Family Category on Google Play. To date, NOGGIN has 21 library series available, including the recently added classics Miffy and Friends and Teletubbies. Additional titles in the NOGGIN lineup include Blue’s Clues, Go, Diego, Go!, Little Bear and The Backyardigans, among others.
The NOGGIN App serves as a complement to the highly successful Nick Jr. App, which has seen cross-platform visits reach all-time highs, since launching on Android in September. The Nick Jr. App features full-length episodes, educational games and short-form videos that allow kids to safely interact with and learn from their favorite Nickelodeon preschool characters anytime and anywhere, with even more on-demand episodes available via TV Everywhere authentication through participating TV providers.
To date, Nickelodeon has launched more than 40 preschool apps including top-performing titles like PAW Patrol Rescue Run (problem-solving and social skills), Blaze and the Monster Machines (STEM), Shimmer and Shine Enchanted Carpet Ride App (shape recognition and problem solving) and the award-winning Nick Jr. Draw and Play (creativity and imagination).
