As part of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Rise of the Super Shredder NYCC 2016 panel, Nick also revealed that TMNT season four will introduce two brand-new characters to the series:
- Hot Head, a hotheaded dragon man with mystical powers who partners with some of the Turtles’ worst foes to bring chaos to New York City, voiced by Mark Hamill (Star Wars);
- And Alopex, Kevin Eastman's first new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character in 15 years!
Nickelodeon also treated the lucky panels' audience to:
- Sneak peeks from upcoming episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season four;
- A table read for new TMNT episode "The Super Shredder";
- A rough cut of an music video about Ice Cream Kitty;
- A surprise special appearance from WWE's Sting to announce the upcoming Wal-Mart exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x WWE toy line, Ninja Superstars!

The first features Karai being introduced to a brand new Shredder. Healed by mutagen, Shredder has now mutated into a hulking, mutagen-fueled, bladed monster called the Super Shredder! Check it out...:
The second clip shown reveals Season 5’s highly anticipated character, Kavaxas! In this scene, Tiger Claw forces the Turtles to watch as his dark ritual gives birth to a dangerous new enemy.
