Co-created and executive produced by Stefani, The 26-episode series follows the kuu kuu adventures of the super-talented band HJ5 -- Love, Angel, Music, Baby and their inspirational leader, G -- through their super cute world of music, fashion and style. Thanks to their manager Rudie, angry aliens, NoFun politicians, hungry monster pets, and other obstacles, every gig is interrupted and the girls never get to complete a concert -- but G and her friends never give up!
In the series premiere, "Totally Teen Genie," Angel releases a Teen Genie with attitude and tries to use her three wishes to help HJ5 win a Totally Teen Awards Golden Hoodie trophy. Then in “Angel's Flight,” Angel’s determined to restore her reputation after an unflattering picture appears online.

Talking about her brand-new show with the LA Times, Stefani said "There is so much of me in it". The superstar served as the template for G, who leads Love, Angel, Music and Baby in the band named HJ5. Her Dog is also in an episode, as are two of her three sons, Kingston and Zuma. "It's everything I love: music, fashion, travel, self-expression, individuality," she said.
She paid particular attention to the cartoon quintet in the show, dispensing notes on how the characters should be able to dance, sing, swish their hair and wear makeup.
"It’s a fun place for me to take everything that I have worked through the years and do it now. I think some of the funnest things I've ever done were for children," she added. You can read Gwen Stefani's interview with the LA Times in full here on latimes.com!
