Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has finalized a number of agreements with broadcasters around the world for a variety of new and classic Nickelodeon animated series!
In Thailand, Thai PBS has renewed its deal with VIMN for popular Nick Jr. programming such as the first three seasons of Wonder Pets and Bubble Guppies; the first two seasons of Ni Hao, Kai-Lan and Team Umizoomi; and seasons four through six of Dora the Explorer. New Zealand’s TVNZ went for the ninth season of SpongeBob SquarePants, while ABC Australia snapped up the first seasons of The Fairly OddParents and Legend of Korra, and the first two seasons of Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.
Turkey's ZAROK TV signed up for the first five seasons of Angry Beavers and SpongeBob SquarePants, as well as seasons five through eight of The Fairly OddParents. In Africa, Angola and Mozambique's ZAP has committed to the first two seasons of CatDog, and the freshman seasons of Monsters vs. Aliens and Fanboy & Chum Chum.
FOX Finland picked up the fourth season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the freshman season of Penguins of Madagascar. LNK in Lithuania took the first seasons of The Loud House and Pig Goat Banana Cricket, as well as the ninth season of SpongeBob SquarePants, which has also been licensed by MTG for broadcast in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Over in Latin America, Honduras's TV Hondurena has acquired the rights to the second season of Penguins of Madagascar, the third season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the freshman season of Kung Fu Panda. Monte Carlo TV in Uruguay picked up the first season of Harvey Beaks, and Brazil's SBT begins airing seasons three and four of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles today.
And in Canada, Bell Media's VRAKTV has signed up for the ninth season of SpongeBob SquarePants, with a licensing period starting in December 2016.
