The Stockport, UK-Based licensing business Character World has extended its exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bedding and accessories range!
The move arrives as Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies' latest TMNT movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits cinemas across the globe this week.
New designs in Character World's already burgeoning Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles portfolio include duvet covers with matching pillow cases, fleece blankets, curtains and a poncho.
Created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, the Heroes in a Half Shell first appeared in comic book form in 1984 and have since enjoyed global success that has seen them span the decades in a variety of forms including animated television series and a slate of live action and CGI movies.
"It's fantastic to be introducing new designs into our range for such a well-known brand following the sales success in 2014 and 2015," said Tim Kilby, brand manager at Character World.
"The franchise has been popular in the boys' arena for the last 30 years and the latest film is set to spawn a new generation of fans. The dynamic characters and adventurous storylines lend themselves perfectly to a whole host of vibrant merchandise that boys will love."
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles joins a brimming portfolio of boys' properties including Star Wars, Marvel and LEGO.
Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo return to cinemas this summer in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows to battle bigger, badder villains alongside April O'Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After super villain Shredder (Brian Tee) escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar "Sheamus"), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
