- When David Bowie did a voice for "SpongeBob SquarePants": As the world comes to grips with the fact that David Bowie has died, one person who had the chance to work with Bowie in a gig that could be surprising even for Bowie shared his memories of their work together. Paul Tibbitt, a producer and director on the hit Nickelodeon animated kids show "SpongeBob SquarePants" (as well as the movies) had the idea to cast David Bowie in a special episode, "Atlantis SquarePantis", in 2007. The role: The King of Atlantis, otherwise known as Lord Royal Highness. - Nickelodeon Australia has opened a pop-up Nickelodeon Store at "Kids' World", Nickelodeon's free kids' playground at the Australian Open Festival at Birrarung Marr! The pop-up Nick Shop is selling a range of Nickelodeon merchandise, such as "show bags" featuring Nickelodeon favourites "Dora the Explorer", "Dora and Friends", "Half Shell Heroes", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Paw Patrol"! "Kids' World" also features a giant Nickelodeon inflatable playground, meet and greets with characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, and Nickelodeon's signature slime at the world famous Slime Lab. "Kids' World" is open at the Australian Open Festival at Birrarung Marr everyday between 9am-7pm from Monday 18th - Sunday 31st January 2016.
- Nickelodeon South East Asia is currently premiering the epic fourth and final season of "Every Witch Way" weekdays at 8:30pm in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan, and weekdays at 8pm in the Philippines!

- Nickelodeon USA is currently airing Panini's first TV campaign exclusively featuring Kevin Durant!
- Two-year old studio HopMotion Animation from Mumbai has sold its first-ever 2D-animated series, Chhoti Anandi, to Viacom18--owned Indian broadcaster Colors TV! The family-friendly series produced by Sphere Origins made its Colors TV debut on January 17, expanding the channel's adult audience base to families and kids for the first time. Chhoti Anandi's debut marks a number of other firsts for Indian television, including the first time a major network in the country has ordered a homegrown animated series and the first time a popular live-action character (Anandi is from the cult classic series BalikaVadhu) has been spun off into an animated series. It's also one of the first animated shows in India to star a female protagonist. Chhoti Anandi follows the adventures of a brave and cunning eight-year-old girl who is known for her clever ways of solving people’s problems in her village. The series will also be simulcast on free-to-air channel Rihstey for rural India. It’s Rihstey's first original programming.
- Nickelodeon Spain (Espana) recently teamed up with Madrid Xanadú to launch "Xanadú Nickelodeon Slime Zone"! "Slime Zone" is a brand-new interactive Nickelodeon-themed area at the shopping mall featuring Nickelodeon favourites, including "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Dora the Explorer"!
- SpongeBob SquarePants recently visited the 33ο Αυθεντικό Μαραθώνιο Δρόμου in Greece to support and encourage marathon runners and kids!
- Nickelodeon Hungary (Magyarország) recently toured the country in a special Nickelodeon boat!
