The actress said the stars of the show "would love to reunite" for a "Sister, Sister" special, adding that she had absolutely no idea why it hadn't happened already.
Mowry-Housley said: "We would love to do it... We just have to get the powers that be to actually do it.
"I know Marques [Houston] wants to do it, I want to do it, Jackée [Harry] wants to do it, Tim [Reid] wants to do it, Tia [Mowry] wants to do it — that's the whole cast. But I don't know why we're not doing it."
The news comes after Tia recently hinted about a "Sister, Sister" reunion. Whilst appearing on "The Meredith Vieira Show" on Friday 1st May 2015, Tia was also asked about a possible comeback for "Sister, Sister" in the future. "So many people, they want to see us back", Tia replied. "And you know, I would love to. It's just all about timing!", adding that fans should not give up hope in "Sister, Sister" returning in some form.
"I am working on a show right now and my sister is working on a show, so we'll see", she explained. "The fans, they really want it, so we'll give it to them probably."
"Sister, Sister" starred Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley as teenage twins reunited under one roof years after being separated at birth.
Tia currently stars in the popular Nickelodeon sitcom "Instant Mom", and her twin Tamera is a co-host on panel show "The Real".
Tia also recently had a small "Sister, Sister" reunion when her former co-star Marques Houston, who played Roger Evans on the popular show, visited her on the set of "Instant Mom"!
"Sister, Sister" originally aired on ABC in the USA between 1994 to 1995, before switching network to the now-defunct WB. The series aired on Nickelodeon UK and Nickelodeon Australia between the mid-1990s and mid-noughties, where it was a fan favourite.
