Nickelodeon UK and Ireland has unveiled the latest batch of freshly selected "Short Toons" on their official Nicktoons website and award-winning Nick App!
Covering topics as varied as video games, zombie siblings and port-a-loo-loving Meerkats, twelve developed shorts from the 2013 edition of Nickelodeon's world renowned Global Animated Shorts Programme are currently rolling out on nicktoons.co.uk and Nick App. Four shorts will be available to view at any one time and, on the Nicktoons site, viewers will be able to show their appreciation for the creative work by selecting the "vote" button.

"The Animated Shorts Program aims to discover, mentor and collaborate with exciting new talent in order to develop the best content for Nickelodeon," said Nina Hahn, Senior Vice President, International Production and Development, Nickelodeon. "These shorts all have the potential to be developed into a longer-form series so it is great to be able to share them with UK fans and, through the vote button, get a sense of what is popular with audiences."
The Global Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Program is open to creatives across the world. The 2016 edition of the initiative will launch in January 2016. More information is available at http://nickanimationstudio.com.
