"Spotlight" is a scripted reality series set at Podium, a drama school that specialises in the development of artistic talent in the entertainment industry. The series offers the viewer a glimpse into the lives of five young talented students at the theatrical school where pupils are groomed for a career in the spotlight with lessons in singing, dancing, acting, presenting and cabaret, from classical to modern.
In "Spotlight", students Sanne, Lynn, Fem, Kess, Joris and newcomer Deb share their wishes, dreams, mischief, fears and setbacks with viewers. They show the bumpy road to adulthood: from new friendships to being the best in your dance class, and singing a song about your first love. All with the goal of life in the spotlight. As in the first season, well-known Dutch celebrities will guest star in "Spotlight" season two, including Ruud Feltkamp, Fred van Leer and the boys from Stuk TV!
"Spotlight" season two picks up from when the first season ended. The six pupils are still in their first year in high school. They now know each other a lot better but they still need to get used to the unwritten rules of the school yard. New tests, arguing with teachers, still too little pocket money, hormones, infatuation between Kess and Sanne, disappointments, and new friends will also feature in the second season of "Spotlight"!
The second season picks up where the first ended. The six pupils still sit in the first year in high school. Fred van Leer, Ruud Feltkamp en Stuk TV krijgen rol in seizoen 2 van Nickelodeon serie 'Spotlight'
Vandaag heeft Nickelodeon bekend gemaakt dat er een nieuw, tweede seizoen komt van de succesvolle dagelijkse TV-serie Spotlight.
In het nieuwe seizoen van de Nederlandse serie gunt Nickelodeon de kijker weer een bijzonder kijkje in het leven van de jonge en talentvolle scholieren Sanne, Lynn, Fem, Kess, Joris en nieuwkomer Deb. Deze scholieren zitten op een bijzondere middelbare school waar leerlingen worden klaargestoomd voor een carrière in de spotlights.
De kids krijgen les in zingen, dansen, acteren, presenteren en cabaret, van klassiek tot modern. Ruud Feltkamp, Fred van Leer en de jongens van Stuk TV zijn de eerste namen van Bekende Nederlanders die een gastrol hebben in het nieuwe seizoen van de Nickelodeon serie.
Het tweede seizoen gaat verder waar het eerste geëindigd is. De zes leerlingen zitten nog altijd in het eerste jaar op de middelbare school. Ze kennen elkaar al een stuk beter maar moeten nog steeds wennen aan de ongeschreven regels op het schoolplein. Nieuwe toetsen, ruzie met docenten, nog steeds te weinig zakgeld, hormonen, de verliefdheid tussen Kess en Sanne, teleurstellingen en nieuwe vrienden, alles komt voorbij in het nieuwe, tweede seizoen van Spotlight bij Nickelodeon.
Spotlight is vanaf maandag 19 oktober, elke schooldag om 19:30 uur op Nickelodeon te zien.
