August 6, 2015
LOWELL, MASS. - The Lowell Spinners, Class-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, announced a partnership with Nickelodeon that will bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to LeLacheur Park for a special promotional night Saturday, August 8.
"We are thrilled to partner with Nickelodeon on this unique event at the ballpark," said Spinners Vice President of Communications Jon Goode. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is such a generational shattering brand and to be able to celebrate the Turtles with a night at the ballpark is something we are very excited to do."
As part of Nickelodeon Night, the Spinners players and staff will be wearing specially made TMNT jerseys, made by OT Sports in conjunction with Nickelodeon. The jerseys feature Leonardo's blue with the Spinners name in TMNT font and style over the chest. The back features the turtle shell with the Spinners' number in blue.
The jerseys will be available in a shirt off the back auction following the game, all to benefit Lowell Spinners Charities, a 501c3 charity.
The day will also include the Spinners third "Scout Night Sleepover" following the game and the Spinners will show special clips and teasers of Nickelodeon programming on the video board while the scouts set up for their post-game sleepover.
Tickets for the game against the Connecticut Tigers, which starts at 5:05pm, remain available at www.LowellSpinners.com or by phone at (978) 459-1702.
