For the first time, Nickelodeon's casting team staged a casting call at VidCon to meet aspiring social media superstars! Among the many who auditioned was Brandy Melana Walker, a 20-year-old YouTube creator. "It's really cool to see the crossover from digital media to actual network television," she said.
In celebration of Nickelodeon's classic game show "Nick Arcade", Nickelodeon held the "Nickelodeon Arcade Stage" at VidCon 2015, which featured many popular arcade games!

To celebrate Nickelodeon USA starting to premiere and show Nickelodeon's brand-new original comedy series "Game Shakers" from Saturday 12th September 2015 at 8:30pm ET/PT, Nickelodeon held a special "Game Shakers" panel at VidCon 2015 on Saturday 25th July 2015!
Hosted by "Game Shakers" star Kel Mitchell, "Drake & Josh" star Josh Peck and comedian GloZell, the panel featured Kel's "Game Shakers" co-stars Cree Cicchino, Madisyn Shipman, Thomas Kuc and Benjamin Lil P-Nut” Flores, Jr.
As part of their panel, Nickelodeon gave VidCon 2015 attendees a exclusive first-look at the very first episode of "Game Shakers"!
Kel and Josh also answered a selection of questions from the audience via Twitter. Josh revealed the story behind his Twitter username, @PortableShua, and got engaged to a member of the audience!
During the panel, attendees got a glimpse of "Sky Whale", the game featured in the show, plus got the chance to play a real-life version of the app with the "Sky Whale" Narwhal mascot!
