Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has teamed with the leading pay-TV network in the UAE, OSN, to launch a number of multiplatform digital offerings!
Nickelodeon HD has become available on OSN Play, an online TV catch-up platform for subscribers of OSN, home to more than 150 channels and services in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
OSN subscribers now have anytime, anywhere access to all of their favorite Nickelodeon content in real time. The live-streaming Nickelodeon HD channel on OSN Play will feature such hits as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn", to name a few.
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has also launched a dedicated Arabic/English regional Nickelodeon website at nickelodeonarabia.com where visitors can enjoy real-time viewing experiences, play games, watch video clips and access online content for "Breadwinners", "Sanjay and Craig" and "iCarly", and Nick Jr. stars including "Dora the Explorer", "PAW Patrol", "Go Diego Go!" and "Team Umizoomi", among other titles.
The addition of Nickelodeon strengthens the existing collection of live-streaming channels on OSN Play which includes the popular OSN Sports Cricket HD, Food Network and Sky News.
This is "just the beginning" of Nickelodeon's planned multiplatform digital expansions in the region, the company said.
In September 2015, a dual-language English and Arabic Nickelodeon application is set to become available for Android and iOS devices. The free Nick App will include a specific authenticated zone for OSN subscribers to unlock exclusive content and games.
