Nickelodeon Names Veteran Ad Sales Executives Amy Hyland And Justin Nesci To New Roles

NICKELODEON NAMES VETERAN AD SALES EXECUTIVES TO NEW ROLES

Amy Hyland Named Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Ad Sales – New York

Justin Nesci Named Senior Vice President, Ad Sales Strategy and Technology Sales

NEW YORK – Jan. 28, 2015 – Nickelodeon today announced that Amy Hyland has been named Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Ad Sales – New York; and Justin Nesci has been named Senior Vice President, Ad Sales Strategy and Technology Sales. The announcement was made today by Jim Perry, Head of Sales, Nickelodeon Group, to whom they will both continue to report.

In Hyland’s new role, she will co-lead linear sales with Jeff Imberman, Senior Vice President, Ad Sales-New York and will also have oversight over digital and direct response/paid programming sales. Nesci will now add oversight of the Ad Sales Strategy team to his responsibilities as head of the Technology Sales group. In his new role, Nesci will oversee strategy, planning and analysis for new initiatives and business partnerships.

“I have a terrific senior team and we are always looking for new ways to utilize great talent. After 2 years overseeing sales strategy, Amy will return to sales and after two years developing our digital sales business, Justin will leverage his background in the strategy role,” said Perry. “In these new roles I’m confident that their continued leadership and relentless commitment to growing Nickelodeon’s ad sales business will result in exciting new partnerships.”

In her previous role as Executive Vice President of Ad Sales Strategy and Planning, Hyland oversaw Ad Sales’ strategic development and analysis for the Nickelodeon Group. She partnered across Viacom Ad Sales to develop key strategic & sales initiatives to insure the greatest impact on overall revenue. Hyland also had oversight of the Ad Sales Marketing and Direct Response/Paid Programming Sales teams.

In his previous role as Senior Vice President of Nickelodeon Digital Sales, Nesci played a pivotal role in the development of our mobile strategy and led the integration of digital sales responsibilities into the overall Nickelodeon sales force. In addition to his new Strategy duties, Nesci will maintain oversight of the Technology Sales team in New York. He will also continue to develop sales and marketing strategies for our digital platforms.
