It's time to Sparkle Up! Nick Jr. USA has announced on their official website, nickjr.com, the very exciting Nickelodeon Preschool news that Nickelodeon USA will start to premiere and show "Little Charmers", a brand-new CG-animated preschool series from Nelvana Enterprises and Spin Master Ltd. ("PAW Patrol"), from Monday 12th January 2015 at 12:00pm ET/PT, as part of Nick USA's preschool programming block!
"Little Charmers" is a fantastical all-new girls' preschool brand that, with a pinch of magic and a bit of mischief, celebrates the magic of friendship and will enchant little girls worldwide.
Nelvana and Spin Master, two of the companies that drove the boys action global phenomenon "Bakugan" have teamed up again to co-create the 80 x 11-minute CGI animated series for girls aged two to seven. Nelvana Studio is producing the animated series and Spin Master is developing and manufacturing a multi-faceted toy line including dolls, playsets, apparel and accessories, to roll out at mass retail in Autumn/Fall 2015. The CGI animated series will debut on Treehouse in Canada and Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels around the world from early 2015.
"Little Charmers" embodies the magic of friendship in the whimsical land of Charmville and stars Hazel, a fearless and spirited go-getter, who is on her way to becoming a full-fledged Charmer. She has a big heart and the best of intentions and can often be seen with her two BFFs, "potionista" Lavender and "spellerina" Posie, flying past Mount Sparklemore and Ogre Valley on their training brooms. These "Charmers-In-Training" embark on spellbinding adventures that always stir up funny debacles, like turning the entire town into mushrooms or accidentally setting loose a herd of unicorns. Together this inseparable trio use their imaginations and teamwork to fix magical mishaps and, along the way, learn the value of friendship, no magic required.
With magical tools, adorable pets and awesome powers, the "Little Charmers" are a fantastic team of friends who bring magic into everything they do! Together, these three enchanting friends make their way in the world of wonderment around them - excited to break in their new magical powers, and go on exciting adventures. They may mess up, but they're up to the challenge. No matter what their fantastical day brings, like accidentally setting loose a herd of unicorns or teaching a baby dragon to fly, it still always comes down to friendship, learning about yourself, and having fun along the way. The Little Charmers are up for anything, so sparkle up!
"The power is inside you!" The overriding theme of the series is the idea that kids can solve problems and accomplish things on their own. Sure, it's fun to have magical abilities, but in the end, the Little Charmers always figure it out using their wits. "Little Charmers" empowers viewers to feel confident they too have the right stuff inside (power, talents, abilities, self-esteem, confidence, etc.) and can do anything they set their hearts and minds to.
To celebrate the premiere of "Little Charmers" on Nick USA on 1/12, Nick Jr. USA has launched Nickelodeon's official "Little Charmers" show website, which features information about Nick's brand-new preschool series and the shows characters, plus information about the shows curriculum.
