Dora the Explorer and Ariana Grande will be joined by fellow Nickelodeon megastar "SpongeBob SquarePants", whose Thanksgiving balloon will be debuting a brand-new holiday-themed makeover for the parade! Donning a holiday-themed ensemble for this year's celebration, millions of fans will watch as SpongeBob takes to the sky for his ninth consecutive procession down the streets of Manhattan!
Nickelodeon's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Thanksgiving Day Parade, which debuted in the 86th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2012, is also expected to take part in Macy's 2013 Thanksgiving Day Parade:

The holidays are almost here! And that means it's almost time to see your favorite yellow sponge in float form in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! You're not the only one who's super excited though. SpongeBob just can't wait to be up in the air, so he took to the skies for a little test flight. Is it just us, or does he look like he's jumping for joy?
Despite living underwater in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob looked right at home among the clouds. Maybe he should consider getting a second pineapple up there!
Could his smile get any bigger? Not likely. Seriously though, just imagine the size of the Krabby Patty this guy could wolf down!
As if seeing SpongeBob wasn't enough, you can also expect to see Sam and Cat's Ariana Grande alongside her porous pal in the parade. She'll be performing some sweet songs on the Dora The Explorer float. There's no better way to warm up in the cold than jamming to an Ariana tune!
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be strolling down the streets of NYC next Thursday, on Thanksgiving morning. And SpongeBob will be soaring in style! We wouldn't miss it for all the jellyfish in the world.
