Entertainment One Extends Daddy Pig Intellectual Property, Based On Peppa Pig's Father

The children's entertainment and media news website Kidscreen is reporting the exciting "Peppa Pig" news in the following article that the international entertainment business Entertainment One Family is partnering with British retailer George at Asda once again to develop a Daddy Pig loungewear line as an extension of eOne's "Peppa Pig" brand!

The new collection from George at Asda follows the success of their first Daddy Pig merchandise line, which launched exclusively for Father's Day in June 2013 and sold out quickly. Items in George's new Daddy Pig Christmas range include a festive T-shirt that goes on sale this week (week beginning Monday 18th November 2013) followed by the launch of Christmas-themed pyjamas, lounge pants, boxer shorts and socks on Sunday 1st December 2013.

Daddy Pig has grown in popularity and has released his own iOS app, "Daddy Pig's Puddle Jump", which is available to purchase in the UK App Store. eOne is currently developing a brand segmentation strategy for Peppa Pig's Father:

SKY TV, New Zealand's main pay-television operator, is reporting the PAWsome Nickelodeon International news on the 'Kids and Family' area of their 'Television Highlights' webpage that Nick Jr. Australia & New Zealand, Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand's local version of the popular preschool channel, will be premiering and showing more brand new episodes of the networks all-new popular CG-animated preschool series "PAW Patrol", including the brand new Christmas special episode called "Pups Save Christmas", in December 2013, as part of the channels festive programming highlights!

Nickelodeon Greenlights Second Season Of Nick At Nite Original Family Comedy "Instant Mom"; Six Additional Episodes For Season One

Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced in the following press release, from PRNewswire, the exciting Nickelodeon News that Nickelodeon has ordered a second season of its hit family comedy for Nick at Nite and NickMom, "Instant Mom"! The Nick News was announced on Friday 22nd November 2013 by Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production.

Additionally, the series, starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict ("Tia & Tamera"), has also been greenlit for six additional episodes to add to its first season, bringing the season total to 26 episodes. The multi-camera, scripted half-hour series features Mowry-Hardrict as Stephanie, a party girl who trades in Cosmos for carpools when she marries Charlie (Michael Boatman, "Spin City"), who already has three kids. Airing regularly on Nick at Nite USA Sundays at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), the series also airs on the adult-targeted NickMom comedy block on the Nick Jr. channel USA.

The series follows Stephanie as she struggles to maintain some sense of her fun-loving, slightly irresponsible life while managing being a full-time stepmom. Sheryl Lee Ralph (Moesha) stars as Stephanie's mother Maggie, and rounding out the cast are Charlie's three kids played by Sydney Park (CSI: NY), Tylen Jacob Williams and Damarr Calhoun. Instant Mom is executive-produced by Howard Michael Gould and Aaron Kaplan.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict has been in the public eye for over 17 years, gaining initial fame starring opposite her twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley in the hit comedy Sister Sister from Paramount Television. After graduating from Pepperdine University, she made appearances in various projects, including starring with her sister once again in The Disney Channel's original movie Twitches in 2005 and again in Twitches Too, two years later. In 2006, Tia landed the role of "Melanie Barnett," medical student turned wife of pro-football player on The Game, which landed her two NAACP Image Award nominations.
