Butch Hartman Confirms Nickelodeon Making Third Live-Action/CGI "The Fairly OddParents" Movie, "A Fairly Odd Summer"

Butch Hartman, the creator of Nickelodeon's Emmy Award-winning original animated series (Nicktoon) "The Fairly OddParents", has today, Wednesday 2nd October 2013, announced and confirmed on his official Twitter profile page, @realhartman, the fantastic news that, following the huge success of "A Fairly OddMovie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!" and "A Fairly Odd Christmas", Nickelodeon Productions and Pacific Bay Entertainment are currently working on a third brand new live-action/CGI "The Fairly OddParents" original television movie called "A Fairly Odd Summer"!! Butch Hartman announced the news whilst on the set filming the all-new live-action FOP movie!

Although most of the exact details are yet to be announced, including the films storyline, as the movie is still in pre-production, the IMDb is reporting that Nickelodeon USA will premiere "A Fairly Odd Summer" in August 2014 as part of Nick's summer holidays programming line-up.

The Internet Movie Database is also reporting that Nickelodeon Stars Drake Bell ("The Amanda Show", "Drake & Josh"), Daniella Monet ("Victorious", "AwesomenessTV", "Fred: The Show"), Teryl Rothery, Daran Norris ("Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide", "Big Time Rush", "The Fairly Oddparents", "T.U.F.F. Puppy"), David Lewis, Mark Gibbon, and Devon Weigel will be reprising their roles as 'Timmy', 'Tootie', 'Mom', 'Dad', 'Mr. Denzel Crocker', 'Jorgen Von Strangle', and 'Vicky', respectively, and will feature actress Ella Anderson ("Dog with a Blog") as the character 'Mitzie' and actor Carter Hastings ("Liv & Maddie") as 'Marty'.

Nickelodeon have so far filmed scenes for their "A Fairly Odd Summer" movie on-location in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and in North Shore, O'ahu, Hawaii, USA.

Nick France Acquires Brand New Animated Preschool Series "Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare" For Nickelodeon Junior

The Canadian production, broadcasting and interactive media business news website Playback Online is reporting the exciting Nick Jr. International news in the following article, via Kidscreen, that Nickelodeon France, the French version of the popular kids' channel, has picked up the broadcast rights to the popular preschool series "Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare", locally titled "Devine combien je t'aime", from Toronto, Canada-based 9 Story Entertainment.

Produced by Australia's SLR Productions, Germany's KiKA and Singapore's Scrawl Studios, the series is adapted from the bestselling picture book by Sam McBratney and published by the Walker Books Group, and features the love-themed seasonal adventures of Nutbrown Hare's family and their friends, in which the father and son attempt to measure how much they love each other.

The series launched on recently on Nick Jr. UK and Ireland and in France, and continues to air in territories including Australia, Norway, Israel, Portugal and Estonia. GHMILY also airs on TVO in Canada.

SLR Productions, building on the series' popularity in international markets, also released interactive episodes of GHMILY for Apple's iPad earlier this year (2013).

Nickelodeon Junior, Nick France's preschool channel, has announced in the slider on the homepage of the channels official website, nickelodeonjunior.fr, that Nickelodeon Junior will be premiering brand new episodes of "Devine combien je t'aime" every Wednesday at 7:50pm (19h50), and to celebrate, has unveiled a exclusive online streaming video clip from the show!:

Nickelodeon Orders Brand New Slow-Motion Physical Gameshow "Split / Second" To Series For Official Website

The official website of the television industry magazine Broadcast is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon News in the following article that Nickelodeon has ordered a brand new slow motion physical gameshow from ZigZag Productions called "Split / Second" to series for the networks official website!

The Viacom-owned broadcaster has commissioned a initial order of 15 episodes of the gameshow with the duration to be decided. Nickelodeon will initially launch the series online and has the option to move the show to traditional TV.

The news comes over a year after the kids channel originally piloted the gameshow.

"Split / Second" is designed to test the pace of contestants' reactions. Entrants will be whittled down via a series of fastest-first challenges, building to a head-to-head final. It will not be possible to tell with the naked eye which contestant wins games such as bursting a balloon the quickest, with drama injected via super-slow-motion replays of the events.

The show was commissioned by Nickelodeon's US vice president of original programming Jon Radler and will be executive produced by Zig Zag boss Danny Fenton and executive vice president (EVP) of Zig Zag USA Matt Gould:
