Kidscreen is reporting the Nickelodeon News that the UK terrestrial television broadcaster Channel 5 has picked up the terrestrial TV broadcast rights for Nickelodeon Preschools' (Nick Jr.'s) popular CGI-animated (animated using computer-generated imagery) original educational show "Bubble Guppies", and will start to show the series in the channels Milkshake! preschool programming block from Spring 2013. Kidscreen is also reporting that Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products UK (NVCP UK) has announced that they begin to roll out a complementary multi-category Bubble Guppies consumer product range in the UK starting Autumn / Fall 2013 across publishing, toys, softwares and home entertainment:
Bubble Guppies joins Milkshake! preschool lineup
UK terrestrial broadcaster Channel 5 has picked up the broadcast rights for the Nick Jr. preschool series Bubble Guppies.
The series, which currently airs on Nick Jr. within the UK and Ireland, will air on Channel 5′s Milkshake! programming block starting this spring.
Nickelodeon will roll out a complementary multi-category Bubble Guppies consumer product range in the UK starting this fall across publishing, toys, softwares and home entertainment.
From the creators of The Backyardigans, Bubble Guppies is a musical comedy set in a 3D underwater environment that incorporates math, literacy, the arts, science and socio-emotional development. It first launched in the US in 2011.

C5 acquires Nickelodeon's Bubble Guppies
Channel 5 has acquired terrestrial rights to Nickelodeon’s preschool animated series Bubble Guppies to air on its Milkshake! strand.
The series currently airs on Nick Jr within the UK and Ireland and will launch on C5’s kids block later this spring.
Bubble Guppies, which was created by the team behind hit Nickelodeon series The Backyardigans and Little Bill, is a musical comedy set in an underwater environment. It follows a group of pre-school fish as they learn maths, literacy and science. It was acquired by Jessica Symons, head of children’s at C5.
