Just before the 2013 Kids' Choice Awards, Nick will premiere and show a brand new episode of the popular Nickelodeon Original Animated Series (Nicktoon) "Fairly Odd Parents", called "Fairly Odd Pet", on at 7.30pm (ET/PT)! In the all-new episode of FOP, Timmy Turner adopts a mischievous and magical fairy dog named Sparky, voiced by Matt Taylor ("T.U.F.F. Puppy", "South Park"). However, owning a fairy dog proves to be a much bigger challenge than Timmy could have ever predicted.
Then at 8.00pm (ET/PT), Nick will show the live US telecast of Nickelodeon 2013 Kids' Choice Awards, direct from the Galen Center at USC [University of Southern California] in Los Angeles, Calif, USA! Hosted by Josh Duhamel, this year's live telecast will feature performances by Pitbull, featuring Christina Aguilera, as well as Ke$ha with their respective hits "Feel This Moment" and "C'Mon." A star-studded presenter lineup has been confirmed to hand out the coveted orange blimp awards (to be announced soon!). Fans all over the world can still cast their votes until March 23 in 22 total categories across all of Nickelodeon's digital outlets, including on kca2013.com, Nick Mobile app as well as Nickelodeon's Facebook page and Twitter feed.
Then, immediately following Saturday's live telecast of the 2013 KCAs, Nick USA will give viewers a special preview of Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation's brand new CGI-animated series "Monsters vs. Aliens" at 9.30pm (ET/PT)! A co-production with DreamWorks Animation and inspired by the 2009 blockbuster feature film ($383 million worldwide gross), the new series follows the further adventures of the beloved monsters - B.O.B. (Eric Edelstein, "Hotel for Dogs"), the gelatinous blob without a brain; Link (Diedrich Bader, "Office Space"), the prehistoric fish-man; Dr. Cockroach (Chris O'Dowd, "Bridesmaids", "The IT Crowd", "Moone Boy"), the half-man/half-insect mad scientist; and Susan (aka Ginormica) (Riki Lindhome, "Gilmore Girls"), the incredible growing woman - as they learn to adapt to a new world and work side by side with a bizarre group of aliens. In the half-hour special, "Welcome to Area Fifty-Something," Susan, B.O.B., Link and Dr. Cockroach are stationed at Area Fifty-Something to protect the planet, when a lone alien, Coverton (Jeff Bennett, "The Penguins of Madagascar") arrives and imprisons the President while making a permanent home on base.
After giving viewers and fans a special sneak peek preview of their new animated series, Nick USA will then start to premiere and show "Monsters vs. Aliens" regularly from Saturday 6th April 2013!:
