Former Nickelodeon And "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" Star Emily VanCamp Reportedly In Talks To Star In The Upcoming New Movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"

According to the entertainment news website Entertainmentwise, Deadline is reporting the news that the former Nickelodeon Star Emily VanCamp, who made her acting debut at age 13 in the three-part episode of the Classic Nickelodeon horror/fantasy-themed anthology television show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" called "The Tale of the Silver Sight" (2000), in which she played the character Peggy Gregory, is currently in final talks to star in the sequel to the "Captain America" movie, which will be called "Captain America: The Winter Soldier":

TV star Emily VanCamp is reportedly on track to land her first big-budget film role.

The gorgeous actress, who rose to fame on Everwood and Brothers And Sisters, is currently playing the lead role of Emily Thorne on Revenge - the hit melodrama currently airing on ABC in the US and E4 in the UK.

According to Deadline, she is in final talks to star in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'.

Chris Evans plays the titular role in the superhero franchise, and the sequel is due for release on April 4, 2014.

Scarlett Johansson is also thought to be on board, after playing the Black Widow in the first film.

VanCamp, 26, first hit screens aged 13 in Nickelodeon series Are You Afraid Of The Dark?.

She is dating her Revenge co-star Josh Bowman, who previously dated late British singer Amy Winehouse.
