Tickety Toc syncs with mobile screens
New York-based Cupcake Digital will bring characters from the Zodiak Kids preschool series Tickety Toc to digital life via 12 new storybook apps.
The apps are currently in development and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Barnes & Noble on the iOS, Android, NOOK and Kindle Fire platforms starting this Spring.
The apps will feature three modes of reading, professional narration as well as learning-based games.
The deal was brokered by US licensing agent Established Brands and Canadian licensing agent Studio Licensing on behalf of Zodiak Kids. The apps will precede Tickety Toc’s consumer products launch this fall, which will be led by master toy partner Just Play and home entertainment partner Anchor Bay Entertainment.
The CGI series launched in April 2012 in the UK and debuted in the US on Nick Jr. in October. The news follows last week's announcement of more licensing partners for the preschool brand.
