Nickelodeon UK has announced the Nickelodeon UK News that, to celebrate the spookiest and scariest month of the year and Halloween, Nickelodeon UK is planning to premiere and show seven spooky brand new episodes of the popular animated series "Grizzly Tales" (also known as "Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids"), including the brand new "Grizzly Tales" episodes "Frank Einstein's Monster", "Nails in Her Coffin", "The Undertaker", and "The Little Flower Girl", on Nickelodeon UK and Ireland's animation channel, Nicktoons UK and Ireland, in October 2012, as part of NickToons UK's Autumn/Winter 2012 highlights, which are guaranteed scare even the naughtiest children into submission!
The successful multi-award winning animated series "Grizzly Tales" is based on the hit children's books written by the English children's author Jamie Rix ("Not Going Out", "The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury") and is narrated by Nigel Planer ("The Magic Roundabout", "The Young Ones", "Hairspray") and is animated by Sara and Simon Bor of "Wolves Witches & Giants" fame. The series is a collection of morality tales which also has insinuations of a horror story; gruesome punishments happen throughout. The stories mainly focus on naughty or horrible (for example vain, untidy or lying children) children learning a grim lesson. Originally commissioned by Carlton Television (now part of ITV plc.) and a co-production between Elephant Productions and Honeycomb Animation, the original six series (seasons) ran from 2000 to 2006 on ITV1. Nickelodeon UK announced in 2009 that they would be reinventing "Grizzly Tales" for today's audience, and started to premiere new "Grizzly Tales" episodes in 2011. Nickelodeon UK also acquired the broadcast rights to the show's original 79 episodes and started to show them in 2010. Airing this October, The Night Night Porter of the Hot-Hell Darkness hotel (who is also the half-brother of Uncle Grizzly, the original presenter of "Grizzly Tales" who ran the Squeam Screen cinema who presented the show with his pet spider called Spindleshanks) will be taking over the NickToons schedule with all-new episodes of the "Broadcast Awards 2012" winning "Grizzly Tales" which are sure to grab young imaginations with tales of how misbehaving children get their comeuppance! "Grizzly Tales" is produced by Grizzly TV.
The brand new episode of "Grizzly Tales" called "Frank Einstein's Monster" follows firework freak Frank Einstein, who is given the chance to light the biggest firework on Bonfire Night if he can build the best Guy in the village.
In the brand new episode of "Grizzly Tales" called "Nails in Her Coffin", a vicious girl who admires the power and cruelty of cats, grows her nails and slashes her way to power.
In the brand new episode of "Grizzly Tales" titled "The Undertaker", Gulab Gobby loves the sound of his own voice, so much so that he becomes the youngest politician in history. However, when he falls foul of The Speaker by shouting her down, she assigns The Undertaker to take care of him.
The brand new episode of "Grizzly Tales" called "The Little Flower Girl" sees Petal wish for people to love her and for strangers to gasp when she comes into a room. However, it is a wish that may land her in trouble with a judicial doll.

"We're excited to bring Figure it Out back for a second season with more unique talents, hilarious moments and, of course, slime!" said Paula Kaplan, Executive Vice President, Current Series, Nickelodeon. "Kids love playing along with the show and seeing their favorite Nick stars and celebrities on a more personal level."
During summer encores, Figure it Out hosted a "Watch & Win" sweepstakes, encouraging viewers to tune-in nightly for the opportunity to secure a unique code. Once the code was revealed, show fanatics were challenged to log on to www.nick.com/figureitout for a chance to appear on an upcoming episode this season, alongside celebrity panelists. Four grand-prize finalists were selected for this all-expense paid trip of a lifetime.
Every Figure it Out episode features a panel of four stars trying to guess the talent or accomplishment of two kid contestants each, through three rounds of game play, by asking yes or no questions while being bombarded by messy visual and tactile clues. For every round the panel fails to figure it out, the contestant wins a prize. If, after three rounds, the panel can't figure out the kid's unique skill, the contestant takes home the grand prize. Each game culminates in the reveal of the talent with an in-studio demo.
The slime from the '90s version of Figure it Out returned to the network in June 2012. Each panelist has a chance to be slimed if they perform the "secret slime" action, which is revealed in round two of the game. Contestants also have the chance to be honored with a sliming, if the panelist is able to guess the pre-determined "word of honor," a word that is key to helping them figure out the contestants' special talent.
Each episode of Figure it Out will be available for streaming on Xbox, Vudu and Amazon.com, and download on iTunes.
Figure it Out originally aired for four seasons on Nickelodeon from July 1997 to December 1999 and was hosted by Olympic gold medalist swimmer Summer Sanders. Panelists from the original broadcast included Kenan Thompson, Aaron Carter, Amanda Bynes, Chris Jericho, Coolio, Jack Hanna, Sherman Helmsley, Evander Holyfield, Joe Namath, Julius Erving, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mike O'Malley and Mya, among several others. The series was created by Kevin Kay and Magda Liolis with Eileen Braun and Liolis currently serving as executive producers.
