One Direction promo for Nickelodeon's 'iCarly' - watch
Boyband's US invasion continues in guest spot on the popular Nickelodeon show.
One Direction feature in a new promo for an upcoming iCarly episode.
The group will guest star on the episode as themselves opposite Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, Noah Munck and Jerry Trainor.
The plot revolves around the quintet performing their hit single 'What Makes You Beautiful' on Carly's live webcam show, when things go awry.
Made up of singers Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan, One Direction have shot to huge success in the US, with their album Up All Night going to number one on both the Billboard and iTunes charts.

There's no denying that the One Direction lads are talented. Not only have they managed to make history in the US, they've now made their acting debut on hit Nickelodeon show, iCarly.
The episode which will air in the US this weekend, shows Harry Styles and co perform their hit song, 'What Makes You Beautiful' on Carly's webcam. However, as always, not everything goes to plan...
Tweeting about working with Harry, Zayn, Niall, Liam and Louis, when they started filming at the beginning of the year, the show's boss wrote:
"I'm having the BEST time working with One Direction today here at iCarly. Such a nice, talented, professional, FUN group of guys. :)".
It appears as though the feeling was mutual with the lads as they spoke of their time on set:
"We were nervous when we got on set but we had such a fun day hanging around", Liam gushed.
UK fans need not panic as the episode featuring the band will be broadcast on April 16.

Rihanna Wants To Get Slimed At Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards - Audio
The 'We Found Love' singer wishes her good friend Katy Perry well on her return to the event this year.
Rihanna has offered her best wishes to Katy Perry ahead of her appearance at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2012 this evening (31st March).
The 'E.T.' star had a nasty fall in 2010 and Rihanna has told her close friend to be "careful" and admitted she is a big fan of the sliming which takes place.
She told Capital FM: "That was pretty major last time – she almost broke her back. I hope she's more careful this time. But sliming, that's awesome, that's awesome. Getting slimed? I want to do that one time."
The event, which is hosted by Hollywood star Will Smith, takes place at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles and will also see the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer take to the stage for a live performance.
Meanwhile, the Bajan star also revealed to Capital that Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby Blue Ivy is "beautiful" and the spitting image of her rapper father.
Katy Perry "Can't Wait" For Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Performance This Weekend
The 'Firework' singer is looking forward to performing new single 'Part Of Me' at the annual awards show.
Katy Perry says she "can't wait" to take to the stage for her performance at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2012 this weekend.
The 'Part Of Me' singer is set to lead the performance line-up at the annual awards event, which takes place this Saturday (31st March), and says rehearsals for the show have been going well.
"CAN'T WAIT for the KCA's! Part of Me will have a major ARC to it!" Katy tweeted earlier today (30th March). "Rehearsals r going Fab! Just a few more days to vote!"
Katy is up for three gongs at the Kids' Choice Awards including Favourite Female and Favourite Song for 'Firework' , as well as Favourite Voice Actor From An Animated Movie for her role in last summer's The Smurfs.
Earlier this week Katy rereleased her 2010 sophomore album as a repackaged edition called 'Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection' , which she described as the same record but "with a face lift".
Katy Perry memorably appeared at the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards where she was slimed while presenting an award.
