To celebrate and promote Nickelodeon UK and Ireland's
Christmas 2012 programming line-up, including the British and Irish premiere of Nickelodeon's first full-length stop-motion animated special "It's A SpongeBob Christmas!", Nickelodeon UK has sent out a exclusive Christmas mailer to press outlets which contains a special 'Build a Bob' "SpongeBob SquarePants" toy, which features a model of SpongeBob's body and a selection of SpongeBob's body parts, which allows the player to decorate SpongeBob's body to their chosen style (similer to Hasbro's famous "Mr. Potato Head" toy)! Tweeted (posted) by Nickelodeon UK's Press Office on their
official Twitter profile page (
@NickelodeonUKPR):

To accompany Nick UK's Xmas mailer, Nickelodeon UK also set out a special challenge to the recipients of their special Christmas mailer - to Tweet Nickelodeon UK's press office their best "Build a Bob" sculptures using the SpongeBob design kit provided. One of the press outlets who took up Nick UK's special challenge was Toxic magazine, a British magazine for boys, who posted a special stop-motion video of their own SpongeBob design, called "My SpongeBob". Tweeted by Toxic magazine and Nickelodeon UK's Press Office on their official Twitter feeds:
