Ciara Bravo heading back to Hollywood
Alexandria's Ciara Bravo will be heading back to Hollywood next year, with Nickelodeon ordering a fourth season of its hit "Big Time Rush." But first she's off to Vancouver to appear in in "Swindle," a movie for Nickelodeon with Noah Monk, Noah Crawford and Jennette McCurdy.
"Big Time Rush" production resumes in early 2013 in Los Angeles for the music-comedy series about four best friends in Los Angeles starring Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson. Bravo plays Katie Knight, Kendall's younger sister.
In slightly more than three years, Ciara has started putting together a big time career in LA. She’s voiced characters in “Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas,” “The Penguins of Madagascar” and “Happiness Is A Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown,” plus appeared in the "Big Time Rush" movie ("Big Time Movie") and with Cynthia Gibb and Greg Evigan in "My Dog's Christmas Miracle." See her credits here.
“Big Time Movie” repeats at 3 p.m. Saturday on Nickelodeon [North America only]. Four episodes of "BTR" air 8-10 p.m. Saturday on Nick. It also airs 2:30 p.m. weekdays on Teen Nick [USA only].
Nick's "BTR" announcement came in the middle of the band’s 60-city Big Time Summer Tour across the U.S., Canada and South America, and with their new “Windows Down” single climbing the charts.
Nickelodeon says: In its third season, “Big Time Rush” ranks as one of the top 10 live-action series with kids 2-11, kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 across all of TV. The 2009 “BTR” series premiere was the highest-rated and most-watched live-action debut among all Nickelodeon series with kids, tweens and total viewers (6.8 million).
It’s also a top 10 show on Nickelodeon in key demos in Germany, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Poland, South Africa and Australia, and is seen in over 100 territories and in 20 languages via Nickelodeon channels and syndication.
