Alex Gilles joins Rubie's Masquerade

New product manager arrives from German office.

Rubie's Masquerade has bolstered its UK team with a new product manager, Alex Gilles.

Gilles will be responsible for the development of product for key licences from Hasbro (My Little Pony and Transformers), Cartoon Network (Ben 10), Nickelodeon (Spongebob Squarepants) and the BBC among others.

She joins from Rubie's Germany, where she has gathered key experience in licensing and purchasing.

"It's a pleasure to welcome Alex to our UK team," said David Wootliff, head of marketing at Rubie's. "Her knowledge of our category will help us plan and deliver better marketing plans and product for our business. She joins Rubie's at a very interesting time as we significantly increase our marketing going forward."

Gilles added: "Having worked with Rubie's in Germany for the past few years I have gained a great insight into the industry and acquired a wealth of knowledge about the products. I am truly looking forward to working with such a great team."
