Then, when all of the votes have been counted up, Nickelodeon and Fruit Shoot will be taking over the prestigious ICC Birmingham on Saturday 21st July 2012 for for a day of crazy-skills, awesome showcases and maybe even a few celebrity appearances that are sure to wow the crowds!
The day will kick off with Pre-show Skills Activities outside the ICC where guests can try and master various 'Skill Stations' themselves! What better way to gear up for the 'Skillies' than to hone your own skills?! Nickelodeon and Fruit Shoot will have it all - Snowboarding simulators, Rock Climbing Walls, Keepy-uppy stands, Basketball Mini-clinics, Street Dance Tutorials and much more! So get ready to give it all a go!
Then the doors to the main awards event will open and Nickelodeon UK Presenters Anna Williamson and Jamie Rickers (Nickelodeon's Jamie and Anna) will host the Live Awards show where everyone's online votes will determine which nominees take home the coveted Golden Skillie Awards! And who knows, maybe a few talented Celebs will show us their skills on stage too?! And it wouldn't be Nickelodeon without some slime, obviously! One thing is for certain, it will be a SERIOUSLY awesome day!
You can register for free tickets to attend "Nickelodeon's Fruit Shoot Skills Awards" by filling out a online form here on the official "Nickelodeon's Fruit Shoot Skills Awards" website. Tickets Terms and Conditions: Registration for tickets will close at midday on Friday 6th July 2012. One ticket in each Group must be taken by an adult (over 18 years old). At least one child must attend in each Group. You must live in the UK or Eire to apply for tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, and are subject to availability.

LAUREN ASQUITH (17 years old) FOOTBALLER AND COACH
Not only is Lauren an incredibly talented footballer, who has firmly established herself as a club and international player, she is also a passionate coach who has decided to live her life with one simple aim - to make as much of a difference to as many players as possible. And whilst committing so much time to coaching and playing, Lauren is still predicted 3 A's and a B at A-Level!
CAMERON FOSTER (17 years old) FUNDRAISER AND SPORTS COACH
At the age of 9, Cameron suffered serious injuries from a skiing accident, and spent 6 weeks in a wheelchair. That time made him realise just how difficult it must be for people suffering from disabilities to play and fully enjoy sports. He was inspired to raise money for his local Disability Sports Organisation, and his charity work hasn't stopped since! So far he has raised approximately £15,000 for specialist sports equipment for disabled people, with countless sponsored runs, walks, and even abseiling down Manchester United's Football Stadium! He also puts his own sporting prowess to use and works with able-bodied and disabled young people as a volunteer coach with local Karate, Basketball, and Cricket Clubs!
JENNA DOWNING (24 years old) WORLD CHAMPION INLINE SKATER & COACH
As well being the reigning Female Inline Skating World Champion, Jenna is a working as a Sports Mentor with the aim to inspire young people to find and fulfil their potential in sport or in life. Jenna uses her experiences and skills to help young people to participate, stay in and excel in sport, as well as helping disadvantaged young people to find and believe in their own talents. As a national and international coach, Jenna also established the first ‘girls only' Inline Skating Academy in an attempt to get young, disadvantaged girls off the streets and into sport.
DOUGLAS ROSS (18 years old) GYMNAST AND OLYMPIC HOPEFUL
Gymnast Douglas Ross thought his glittering career was over when he damaged his hip five years ago. But, despite undergoing major surgery, the talented athlete fought back from his injury to secure a place in the Scotland squad. He has won numerous gold and silver medals and is now one of Scotland's biggest medal hopes for the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and proof that an incredible work ethic and determination to follow your dream will pay off.
Important Information About The "Nickelodeon Fruit Shoot Skills Awards" Event:
The Fruit Shoot Pre-show skills activities will be open to ticket holders from 11-4pm on Saturday 21st July. Please arrive in good time to get into the skills activities before the main show as queues may be likely for both.
This is a family event. Nickelodeon recommends the Awards Show and Pre-show activities suitable for 7-15 year olds.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 during the event.
Free tickets are allocated online on a first come first served basis.
Tickets for the Awards are limited. Any unsuccessful applicants will be placed on our ticket reserve list on a first come first served basis and will contact you if tickets do become available.
