Nick nabs Pocoyo for UK
UK children’s channel Nick Jr has licensed all three seasons of Zinkia's popular animated series Pocoyo.
The deal includes the new season, dubbed Let’s Go Pocoyo (52x7′), which will debut in the UK on the channel this fall with linear simulcast for other platforms planned, including the Nickelodeon subscription video-on-demand service.
The series, which is sold by Spain-based Zinkia’s majority-owned distribution firm Cake to most of the global market, already airs on Nick Jr in the US daily in half-hour timeslots.
